This fixes my "scanner not connected" problem. It turns out the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) service is not responding and I have to restart it. However error 1061 shows up when I try to stop the service. This video helps me restart the service and my scanner works again!

how to write a script to restart all those process/ services? I am using cmd / powershell to stop them , and they just cannot be stopped , eg , this one net stop audiosrv /y it will say it is already stopping, and cannot stop it . but using the Task manager somehow there is a check box, by using it, I can succesfully end the task and fix the error 1061

Im trying to close this service and restart the Network Location Awareness (NLA) service, but when i stop the Network List Service (NLS) and try to stop the NLA right after, NLS starts again and i can't stop NLA. Do you have a solution for this? :)
