"The Sending of the Twelve (Luke 9:1-6)" (Sorry Kind Sir, for the VERY long "comment". But I believe it NEEDS to be espoused) 1 Then He called His twelve disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases. 2 He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. 3 And He said to them, “Take nothing for the journey, neither staffs nor bag nor bread nor money; and do not have two tunics apiece. 4 “Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5 And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere. And kind Sir....you said this in your "Foreword"... "When Jesus sent out His twelve Apostles, He commissioned them to proclaim His gospel in the world. Yes that is true Sir. And yes they went out to a few towns; and that is all they did. And I will always believe that Jesus was angry against most of them; because of that. For most never did what Jesus really wanted them to do! Thus, when "Judas" killed himself; Jesus chose one of THE meanest, egotistical, arrogant (But smart as can be) persons around. And his name was "Saul of Tarsus". And Jesus blinded him. And during the time Saul was in his bed blinded, Jesus gave him wisdom, so much so; his was 2nd; only to the wisdom of King Solomon. So. Jesus took Saul (who He changed to "Paul") and USED his bad traits; into be determined to do; what Jesus' 12 Disciples would NOT do. For most simply went around the towns near Jerusalem. And espoused their wretched lies of their; satan-led, Godless "Judaism". And why Jesus had to come down to "save" them and the other Jews; in the first place. But sadly, most of them never did; what Jesus wanted them to. But Paul did it. And this is why he wrote 13 books in the NT. And NO body ever came close to that achievement in any bible. So MOST of the "Real" Gospel; was preached by Paul. NOT...what most of the disciples espoused. Sad, but OH so True... To summarize: Paul preached things that NO one had ever preached. And I use only 3 to prove it...Romans 2:28-29 and Galatians 3:29. Proving that most of the 12 Disciples did not remember any thing; that Jesus had taught them. Sad! For John was the only one that really followed what Jesus said in His Gospel. Thus, Phillip and Thomas "doubted" Him, Judas "betrayed" Him and Peter "denied" Him. And why Jesus said "this" to Peter... Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. And Luke was NOT a Disciple: but Jesus still chose him to write; to be one of His 4 Gospel writers. What an honor for Luke! And I believe that is why Jesus chose "John": to write the book of "Revelation". And He did not choose Paul for cause... ...in any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

Not true...church history confides they went as far as India where I believe Philip was run through with a Brahman sword. They all went out building churches everywhere until all but John were martyred. Don't know where you get your history from.

@@gordonreed2736 It never ceases to amaze me!!! For I MADE it clear that it was "most". I never sad "all". So... Now show me a single one, in any "church history;" where Mathias did anything? What about Bartholomew? And Phillip? Or "Thomas". Not to mention the "2nd Judas", etc! That went all over the world to preach the Gospel Huh? And I did say that Peter did, and John did and Paul did. And I will add Matthew also. But "MOST" did not do it. And your churches have NO "credible evidence"; that any of those disciples EVER traveled the world. And it's certainly; NOT in the bible. Sad, sad, that Christians do not understand writings. And always waiting like a coiled "Rattlesnake" to catch us!. As though YOU are the "God Expert" in the universe. So, WHO do you think you are? Huh? For Jesus said... Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it would be better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and he was drowned in the depth of the sea. And I was Born Again at age 9 in 1941! And are YOU 90 yrs old; as I am? HUH? Beware! May Jesus have mercy...

Aside from the 12 apostles and Paul the apostle for the gentiles, are there any other Apostle in the new testament? If there are feminist who rejects Paul, there are now Pauline's who reject the 12 Apostles and only accept Paul's teaching.

There were other disciples who didn't have the title. The 12 were thr inner-circle if you like and its from them that Jesus sent them out from and from them they chose the replacement for Judus. I haven't come across anyone who rejects the other Apostles and accepts only Paul - I have found it thr other way around through. (Not sure if that was a genuine question, or not. It's hard to tell these days).

@@HearGodsWord the other apostles did not choose a replacement for Judas. They cast lots to choose one but he didn't pan out because he was chosen by men and not christ. Christ himself chose Paul as the replacement. The very definition of an apostle is that you have to be hand-picked by Christ. That is why Paul stated himself: Galatians 1:1 "Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead)" People today who call themselves Apostles should be shunned and called out as a heretic.
