My husband of nearly 49 years was recently called home -- on March 4, 2021 -- after a long struggle post-stroke and a short struggle with kidney disease. My school teacher of over 5 decades ago and a Godly man sent me here so that I could have some salve for my grieving soul. I will be ever grateful to my school teacher of all those years ago!

Thanks to the miracle ofmodern broadcasting, we can listen to RC for a long time. I don't think i will ever get to the end of this wonderfu blessing. And all the while he is enjoying the presence of the Lord. Best of both worlds.

We thank the Lord God for giving us this brilliant theologian in our time.

I am so thankful for RC and his teachings. There’s not a teaching that can give me comfort quite like his teachings, and bring the holiness of God down into my living room. So thankful for these archives. I love how he teaches the holiness of God some thing that we so desperately need these days.

When I was a kid at school, I was in the school choir. One of the songs we sang was 'The Holy City'. Later on at university, I understood the Gospel, the Bible, and repented of my sins. So thankful to God for keeping me and forgiving me. (To this day, I remember the lyrics of the song 'The Holy City'.)

Initially I rarely listened to Dr. Sproul, after his death we began to listen and to discover his brilliance, a skill as a theologian/scholar/ and preacher. God bless his memory

I have never heard words spoken that touched my heart and my soul as those Dr. Sproul used in this message. I shall miss him a great deal. I thank my FATHER and my LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST for putting him in my life. May GOD bless and keep you forever. I shall miss you a great deal.

Dr Sproul So gifted ,God Truly is Amazing, My life was change years ago when I start listening to this Theologian. Thanks to God for His Sovereignty in this life.So greatful to God in Jesus Mighty Name. for this Teachings.

The teachings of this man are really amazing. May his soul rest well.

What a blessing this man is- all through this sermon myself and my husband were smiling RC is now in Glory and we are so blessed for him. It will be good to one day be with him and the Lord and the new Jerusalem- how I need to keep this vision and these promises in my day to day work and not let th enemy play with my mind and stress me out and make me miserable. I have a wonderful future to look forward to and I need to be able to have mercy for my colleagues and do the people who would give me grief. Oh Lord make me strong in your mighty power

Just think of what he is doing now seeing the face and glory of God. I think this is one of my favorite services so far. What’s going to be better than being in the Presence of the fullness of God. He has been so gracious and merciful to me. Because HE IS. What a Savior!

Encourage is what this is about for us who are at the of our life. When I see Him face to face I. Will fall on my face and Call. My God Holy Holy , Holy . I can't wait to see God our Temple . @@myrnacrittenden217 I'm not entirely sure. I think it used to be the NASB. But I know he sometimes used the KJV and a Greek version.

Just being a little nit-picky. The sky is blue because the dust particulates in the air scatter the blue spectrum of light coming from the sun, not because water is "blue". The water appears blue because it is reflecting the blue light scattering in the air above. It has been a common misconception but water itself has no actual color outside of possible contaminants. Still, it is all a wonderous creation of our almighty God. I do deeply appreciate the Godly wisdom of Dr. Sproul.

We might not remember the former things that have passed away. For he will wipe away every tear. We might not remember loved ones who didn't make it to heaven. For this, might seem like a bad dream.

God has never, ever answered any of my prayers. Not even one. If someone else prays for me, will that help.

What are you praying? Try praying God's Word. Find one of the books Prayers that Avail Much. They are from God's Word which never returns empty to Him. However in all prayer faith is required. It sounds that might be part of the problem.

What a touching sermon, I love to hear the Words preached so warmly but, I do not believe in an eternal burning for the lost, I read , yes , that they are burned, but not for an eternity! Sodom and Gomorrah were burned but they are not burning still, they turned to ashes, no more to be seen, completely destroyed, are no more, they have vanquished. All these terms are used to describe the end for the lost. Not possible to have eternal hell or any of these other terms. Even the earth and the heavens will melt with a fervent heat ……all things will be dissolved. Burned for ever out of existence. My God never wanted anyone of His creation to die, that is why He sent His Son to die for the ones that did not choose to believe and accept His grace. Their burning death will be according to their deeds and then they will end to ashes, as the Genesis book said. You can "believe" whatever you want. God's Word is the authority. Not what we "believe." "My God Is love, and having a second death for the sinners (many burned twice), but to have them burn continuously for ever and ever, is not in the character of my Father God." Your "God" is not the biblical one. "He hated sin that killed His Son but He still loved His lost children whom He wanted saved." Good grief, hear yourself. If someone is lost, then, by definition, they are not God's child! Cease this nonsense. Believe and heed God's Word.

It was referring to the southern kingdom ( black Jews) having a hatred towards our own people ( northern kingdom) when there was a split in the kingdom. Southern kingdom kept the commandments and the northern kingdom didn’t do, they became an enemy. That’s not saying love every other nation that has had Gods children in captivity beacuse Ecclesiasticus 12:10 Never trust thine enemy: for like as iron rusteth, so is his wickedness. Would be a contradiction right?
