The Seiken Densetsu Retrospective: Secret of Mana (SNES)

Seiken Densetsu 2: The game that went from a beautiful disaster to beautiful. I probably overstated the influence of some things, but that'll happen when you try doing a video on your all-time favorite game.
(Gah! forgot to note this in the credits but I used the elevator music from Dive Kick. Also, Wall Face actually can push you into the spikes, but that only seems to happen when the third eye is all that's left and it runs out of magic points to revive the other eyes.)

Quite possibly my favorite game of all time, and you do it such great justice with this video. I thought I knew everything there was to know about this game. After watching this, I realize that I was quite mistaken! Bravo, good sir!

You’re right about Wall Face crushing you against the spikes. I triggered it once, it happened after closed by large eyes. I remember my heart rate severely increasing!

I always level my spells up as high as they can go, but I've never seen that shadow zero animation. Awesome!

I just watched this video again while trying to cure the itch for similar games to this like Secret of Evermore, Terranigma and such classics. Most ones seem too bloated for my liking, especially with puzzles, even if they look fantastic (like Sea of Stars or Chained Echoes). Maybe I'll play Ara Fell again, that one was awesome as well.

By far a great and entertaining vid on one of my favorite rpg games! Secret of Mana introduced me to the rpg genre when it came out when I was little, and from there it was a non-stop rollercoaster with other Square titles. Didn't know the history of its development. Imagine if the rest of its contents weren't cut and

I'm still so salty about the cut content that I've committed to writing my personal vision of it as a DnD campaign. Excellent video; I'm finally convinced somebody is as obsessed as I, haha!

The wall does move but it's only if you taking too long to finish the fight. It's an instant kill if the wall pushes you into the spikes.

First of all : f* great video. Not only you did a great job at maintenant a neutral stance about the pro and con on the game, but you did it with such a good way I laughed half of the time xD.
