I cried when I watched this because every night I stay awake terrified and freaking out that somebody will break into my house and kill me. Terrorism scares me too, right up to the point where I sometimes freak out when I hear airplanes. It's ridiculous and awful. Watching this really helped me calm down. Thank you. I feel a little more at peace now.

I feel for you. Stop watching TV and the news. Its crap, designed to instill fear. Take care of yourself. There's no need to be afraid.

Thanks for your kind words. I've been put on medicine that has really calmed me down, though I still worry about flying sometimes. I try to focus on as much positivity as possible, so I do tend to ignore the negative news now. Thank you!

I had that same fear of my home being broken into so I got an alarm system, yard sign letting burglars know i have an alarm system, motion detector lights outside, a dog and sage. I feel so much safer.

Your mind is just deflecting your attention from a deeper fear, being abandoned/alone. This is what needs to be released.

This was really good advice! I am a shy quiet guy. And I have a fear of looking stupid in front of the guys. This exercise helped me to calm down a bit :)

This is a really big issue for me. My past starting in my pre-teen years was very traumatic and a lot of it is buried deeply and left me scarred. I'm finding it really helpful with the Sedona Method, and you've confirmed and answered my question as far as how far should you go back and how hard it is to let go. Some of the biggest feelings I've been experiencing are probably what I was feeling back then, loneliness and fear of abandonment.

Thank you Hale! I realized I was afraid of people hurting me (verbally) and judging me. I used the words "I allow you to hurt me and I allow you to judge me" while I picture myself being back in the situation with everyone around me. it's like a weight's lifted. It's like I got told a joke and just understood it now.

Silent, non - guided, no method, meditation where I allow random feelings and thoughts to come and go, has allowed me to reduce the volume and intensity of the daily variety of low grade anxieties. Over time, life has become fun and exciting. Curve balls and surprises are now reduced to very small proportions. Sit with yiur feelings and thoughts in silence and get comfortable ❤

lol for years I have been using the Sedona Method. I have been saying "can you let go of wanting that to happen?" instead of let go of not wanting that to happen. Because there can be beliefs in the subconcious mind that make you want something bad to happen to you. Either way it always helps me feel better.

When we work on trying not to fear when we give it power. This is the law of attraction at work. Up until this point I had heard we should replace the feeling of fear with some other emotion. This is a good idea, but sitting with the fear or any other negative emotion deflates its power. I found that when I "dug a little deeper" the things that I identified were somewhat ridiculous. Thanks Hale.

wow that was geniune I tried it diffirent but is true most people just panic I use to fight it. now I accept it and let it go you explained fear and the imagery we give it and suppresing it does not really make better . Is better to do what you said over and over that was profound just completly unacknowlege the fear or belittle the fear hat was deep and helpful. I would think your a pschotherapist but Its helpfulmight not apply if something real traumatic happend or is happening at moment.

Thank you for the mental discourse Master Shailen Karur, I'm going to build my existence around it right away !!! No one can reach real bliss with money !!! About this video: authentic spiritual teachers never accept monetary donations, they don't sell books, dvd's, cd's , etc. never charge any fees, and never have a collection plate or donation box. When money changes hands that is business, not spirituality. “Spiritual teachers” who accept money or sells items are just business people !!!

Point!, someone's ignorance is another's bliss?, :-) 'Pontificating' one's self-discovery is fine, as long as it dispels one's own ignorance - imagining that such ignorance is the universal human condition is the fallacy of one's mind, gotta get over such petty perceptions, to clear the cobwebs of one's mind, for starters It's always up to each one of everyone ...

This method will not work for thinkers. Thinkers complicate things. We need to uncomplicate them. Once it is unknotted, fear will leave on its own and you will be surprised that you even had that fear.
