In my opinion, the concept of having to niche down sometimes comes across as "limiting" yourself. In reality it's just focusing on one thing that your audience can rely on you to always bring to the table. I think of MKBHD (a tech reviewer). If I want to know if something is worth buying, I know he is going to cover the aspects that are important to me. This is all because of the way he has focused his channel. Although choosing a niche has really helped me, this is just my opinion.😀 I wish everyone here success on their KZread channel! 💪🏾

I wish I had this video back when I was starting. I was so mad because I had great content but wasn't getting any attention. 1k was mission impossible. I was lucky when I found out I can boost my channel with initial subs just enough to start getting noticed. I got myself first couple of hundred subs for very low price (I have personally used a bit of Famester). After that my main channel gained a ton of organic traffic.

Thank you… Thank You. You have no idea how grateful I am. We had lunch with new acquaintances today and one made suggestions that “you should do this, you should do that” instead of what I am doing right now because I will grow faster instead of just being stagnant. But I enjoy how I am doing things right now and I am being myself. I don’t want to be trapped in super technical / scripted way of doing things. So on our way home I was feeling so discouraged like I am not good enough for people to actually watch me and my journey so why am I even doing this. Then somehow I come home just now and the universe immediately just wanted to make me recover and move on fast and sent your video on my YT home page. Just tearing up a bit as a write this. Your message means a lot to me.

I love the concept of content creating. There's a human need to have entertainment but a lot of people do not like TV, the news is dying, Netflix and Hulu are too expensive for never offering good selections. People are starting to care about entertainment that makes them a better person rather than wasting time. AND SO WE EVOLVE to be our own entertainers while bringing a lot of enrichment to people's lives. I've been so inspired and learned SO much from KZread.

One of the biggest lessons I've learned on my KZread journey is that my channel is a timeline of progressively coming more into MYSELF. I look through my past 60 videos or so and notice a very clear trend from old videos where I am "trying to be something" into my more recent videos where I am "embracing the being of me". I think the comments and quality of community reflects my development. For any aspiring creators out there, learning how confidentally make content around your real personality and interests is the goal. It takes time to learn, but that's where you want to be, it's the point of least resistance mixed with maximum "staying" power. All the best ya'll!

I feel like God has been pushing me towards creating content and I have literally been paralyzed with fear. I think maybe I was focused on how perfect I had to be and how much of "expert" I had to show up as and everything in me was like ABSOLUTELY NOT! I can't imagine constructing a whole successful life, I'm unhappy with and that's not true to me just to please the world! Yuck! I know that's not even what the world wants or needs anyway. I’m so glad you said this! I have a decent amount of followers as I’m still growing but i literally tell them everything. Like I’ll cry on live 😂 and at first I thought I was doing too much but so many people love how perisonalble and vulnerable I am because the influencer world has become very one lifed -luxury- but there are so many other ways to live and people are just trying to see how to navigate it and get exposed to that by finding someone they relate to so I switched from “Black Girl Luxury” to just being myself “Black girl working who just graduated, working 2 jobs, becoming an influencer, who might go to Grad school, on the journey to having her own business and buying her time back so she can be more active in her community and help people”. There are people can relate to that and there are people who can relate to you just being you! Everyone doesn’t want to live a high luxury life or buy name brand, everyone doesn’t want to work a 9-5, everyone doesn’t want to be a KZreadr. Maybe you have a small business and instead of having an online store and scaling it they just want a store front or maybe they want to work multiple different jobs because they like the experience. Either way if you choose to share your life be YOU , you’re the only person who can do that 🤍✨

ughh, this made me feel so much better!! The last couple months have been disappointing for me. I was always trying to be positive and told myself to prioritize, do and be better at content creating. everything you said about being your authentic self and tackling your negative core beliefs hit home .. there is so much to work on, but theres so much opportunity for fun and growth there

you are such a huge inspiration! i remember when you were still working a 9-5 talking about how excited you were to do this full time and you have been successful with it since! it motivates me a lot that i will be able to accomplish this too someday. im glad you point out its important to enjoy this journey and find passion in it bc once money is involved it can become "work" so im glad you point this out!

I resonate with this video so much and with where I am rn with content creating. I’m really trying overcome my insecurities and let go of the belief that “I’m not cut out for this”. I’ve seen so many creators grow from 0 and I get so in my head about how I’m not growing after years of trying and making KZread videos. Showing up as your authentic self can feel so vulnerable, but I this video has really inspired me. ✨Your personal growth needs to be at the forefront of your mind✨ Thanks you so much for these tips Lynette 💖💖💖

Literally right on time! I’ve got my hands in a few things creatively (content creation included) that I put aside because of anxiety and some depressive periods I dealt with. I was and have been feeling somewhat stuck and honestly overwhelmed because I want to do soo much and be soo multidimensional. I’ve been trying to be more conscious of my personal growth through things like journaling whether it’s mentally, emotionally and creatively and it’s an interesting journey to be on that’s also very exciting - I know I can create and be whoever, whatever I want and even if those moments where I don’t feel at my absolute best, I’m making my way and I love that 🤍

a lot of what you said resonated with me sis, especially going through this journey while dealing with anxiety and depression at the same time. But I'm glad you're still motivated, and you're not alone 🤞🏾🤞🏾

This video is great because it's about the foundation of creativity, human consciousness, and how we exist. Which is the unlock for success on KZread, and life in general. The problem is the execution. Lynette's ideas are very profound, and very simple. These ideas require simple and direct action, so we don't overthink too much. But it's really hard for people to take action. We can read self-help books forever, but we can't find the energy to get out of bed. If life is too simple we get stuck. If life is too complicated we get stuck. I don't know why life has to be so sticky, but for some reason it does.

the older you get the harder it seems to try to be something that you are not or try and follow by something you are not okay with. I believe it's because we become more self aware with age. So anything we want to do in our lives we just want to do it in the way we chose to and not how we are told or think we are supposed to do things.
