What really happend was the ancient builders met the illagers and the illagers saw the ancient builders gear and luxury that they wanted to build and failed there is a word called cargo cult when poor species's meets a advanced species and want to mimic the same technology

The ancients could be us, players, that had a disaster happen on the surface. whatever it was, the land has recovered now, but back then salvation was underground. while traveling there were areas that many died, hence the deep dark biome without the city. eventually they found a huge cavern, and built their city there. they also knew since it was beneath a mountain it would be hard for the disaster to come down, which was true, but the portal experiment they did made a new one. they forgot about it once it failed, their hopes crushed to find something to protect them. the mountain wouldn't hold it off forever. but the portal lit one day, because it had to be lit from the _other side._ this is why we can't open it either.

that disaster could have been the zombie plague and when they went thought into that new dimensions, something happen and the wardens and that werild stuff came thought the protal and wipe out the remaining people in the city

My assumption is that us the "minecraftians" are actually the ancient people who just resurfaced and now populate the servers of minecraft. The rest of my theory is that we are able to craft, build, create, destroy and rediscover while others were not able too therefore we are the strongest of all. We basically hold their fates in quite literally our hands. We also basically warp through portals and enderpearls and use redstone.

The enderman were ancient builders who conquered the nether and the overworld but the end was unexpected they had no way to escape except killing dragon which they did and used the heads and skin to make the end citys ships soon smoehow they got trapped and soon runed out of food and the only food source was chorus fruit that soon mutated the ancient builders th become the enderman. If you dont know enderman actually speak in a distorted language take a look : "hello" "whats up" "look for the eye"

If the warden we all know today is the exact same one in this theory then the warden that existed millions of years ago must of been a living creature not mechanical because the warden we all know today is technically multiple beings in one vessel/body the villagers must designed the warden and the evokers brought it to life using their dark magic and when the evokers (the ones that were experimenting in secret) must of tried to use necromancy on the warden (the one that existed millions of years ago) instead of getting the results that they wanted they would get a creature that it would claim the souls of anyone that it could hear or sniff out (the warden we all know today) regardless of who it is this could explain why they is so much sculk in the ancient city because when the ancient civilization came to check the warden (the existed millions of years ago) instead of seeing what they created what they saw instead was the warden we all know today (Necromancy is a type of dark magic related to the dead as a reminder)

*hErE wE gO aGaIn* First of all, we got the Arch-Illager completely wrong. I have no clue how you even know of his existence without knowing who he even is. According to Minecraft Dungeons’ prequel book, The Rise of the Arch-Illager, the Arch-Illager was originally an illager named Archie, and he was born way after the beginning of the illagers’ existence. He was bullied and pitied on for being small and weak, as in their society, the strong rules over. One day, Archie was ordered to join a patrol party that was meant to deal with the undead mobs that were harassing the illagers for a while. However a hero (a.k.a. the canonical name for a player, at least in Minecraft Dungeons) named Karl intervened in the middle of the fight and killed all of the undead mobs and most of the illagers, with the only survivors being Archie and an evoker named Thord, who has bullied Archie since childhood. Since Archie knew that Thord would blame the patrol’s slaughtering on him, he had no choice but to blame it on Thord. After arriving at their tribe’s mansion and arguing for a bit and blaming each other in front of the rest of the tribe, Archie eventually gets pissed off and punches Thord, who pretends to be injured by his tiny fist, and due to other illagers being idiots, it leads to Archie being banished from the mansion. After wandering for a bit, Archie comes across a village, and gets accepted in by a villager named Yumi and lives there for a while. Eventually, Karl and the main protagonist(s) of MC Dungeons arrive at the village, and Karl sees Archie as a treat and attempts to kill him. After Yumi and some of the other villagers get involved, the heroes leave, and Archie is banished from the village, since to the villagers, the more he stays there the more danger he can get them in the next time the heroes come. After wandering around bit more, he comes across a large mountain, and is then force to climb up it by the spiders that are behind him. He eventually comes across an entrance into the mountain, and inside he finds an sentient object called the Orb of Dominance (which is the floating glowing cube on his staff, which you somehow didn’t know existed or had any significance). The Orb then puts Archie in a hypnotic state and forces him to pick it up, which allows the Orb to infiltrate his mind and eventually control his body. After a series of event that were planned out by the Orb, Archie gains the title of the Arch-Illager and gathers an army of illagers that he using to take over the villages of land. The player character(s) eventually defeat him and free him from the Orb’s influence (what happens to the Orb afterwards is a whole different story that I don’t need to get into now). What happens to Archie afterwards is unclear, but you probably get what I’m saying. Archie only became the leader of the illagers way down the Minecraft timeline and long after the base game. Now for the rest of your theory, I’m not sure any of it can even be called a “theory”, as stuff like the existence of “warpers” and the ancient builders coming from the villagers and illagers has absolutely no evidence and sounds more like a head-canon than an actual theory. Speaking of which, what do you even mean that the ancient civilization were “formed” from the alliance of the villagers and illagers? Are you saying that they fused together or something. Also, Minecraft Dungeons makes it extremely clear there was more than 1 or 2 civilizations of ancient builders. Also, you say that endermen have weaker teleportation abilities than warpers, but that’s the case in anyway. It’s heavily implied that endermen have the power to teleport between dimensions.
