Hi Glenn. Thanks for posting Secret Lake. It reminds me of magical times. I must point out that this wonderful film was the brain-child of John Waters. John also filmed it.

I love this film seems to encapsulate everything I enjoyed about fishing in the 80’s before all the commercialism. Everything felt so much safer and better back then.

Thanks so Glenn. I remember the first time that I saw this documentary and how excited I was watching it. The forerunner to all of the productions since.

Lovely film, the dramatic music for the grass snake may have been a little OTT 🤣

Lovely video content. Very enjoyable. My only criticism is the video quality was very dark on my phone at maximum brightness. It was better on the TV screen though.

If this is true, your dad and I shared a mutal (now sadly departed) friend. This video is so unlike most modern fishing videos, yet encapsulates everything that is good about fishing so perfectly. I love it.

@@walliswizard I understand! fishing has really changed in this modern world, and yes it's true, he is my dad. I can tell my dad about this video and maybe you can reconnect with each other. I'm sure he would love to see you posted his old fishing video on here.
