The Secret Is To Start Now And Evolve Later

Can I go on a rant for a minute?
If you're looking to start a business, you will never have everything lined up or figured out perfectly before you launch.
Never.
And this is true for one simple reason: things change. Constantly!
The secret then to creating a lasting profitable brand is to two-fold: start now and evolve later.
Both verbs (start and evolve) are crucial. Let me give you some examples that will drive this home.

You nailed exactly what I’ve been doing, WAITING! I have to just take that leap of faith! My family and friends have been telling me for years, “you need to sell your crafts”. What the hell is holding me back! I just took a huge financial hit. If I don’t do something we will lose everything I’ve worked so hard for. Ive worked all my life, certified nurse assistant, registered medical assistant, retired police officer with a pension that is a joke. I have associates and bachelors degrees. And i cannot find a job, I was always told education was key. To be honest I no longer want the stress of a 9 to 5. I’m about to watch your workshop in hopes it will help me turn my life around and open new doors. Love watching your videos, they get me motivated and make sense. Have a great day!

I've been using the "I can't afford Kajabi" excuse to delay posting my first video. I have not built a product and I have no subscribers, but, God-willing, my KZread channel will be live by the end of the week and it won't be perfect.

Hahaha I feel personally attacked...lol just kidding but I am definitely "waiting for everything to be perfect". I am normally a perfectionist but I think at this point I am probably just using it as an excuse not to launch. Thanks for the pep talk and great advice!

Hahaha old man Graham 🔥 (I'm HeatherJustCreate - this is my tutorial account) I'm saving this to watch later but just to let you know my current mindset as I watch this, I think my biggest problem is that it feels like nothing's working or resonating but I'm sure I'm overthinking it. I'm wondering if I'm in the inflection point but I don't see it because it's like, I can't read the label from the inside of the bottle kind of thing. I promoted my KZread consulting service on social media for the first time yesterday and I don't know what I was expecting but no one bit. And obviously I know it takes repetition but now I'm like, WHAT AM I DOING WRONG. So anyway, FOLLOWING YOU helps me to deflect my doubt and stay the course.

You're SO right. I insisted that I evolve and make everything perfect before promoting. Since 2011, I've been researching, planning, designing ... trying to avoid any mistakes. In reality, I've avoided making money and supporting English learners.

I've started, technically, but haven't launched my blog because my blog posts aren't completely edited. I need to create a business pinterest account and a Facebook business page. I want my blog to be somewhat ready before I launch. Also I'm scared as to what will happen once I do launch. I'm also scared of my new schedule because of being a professional blogger vs hobby blogger.

Here is my honest answer for having the fear of starting "messy." I'm a professional musician and perform in one of the world's great ensembles. I also freelance a lot and am very busy in the DC/VA/MD area. I wouldn't say 'nobody knows me so it won't matter.' I'm not trying to brag at all, but I feel like I need to present myself in the most professional way possible-from the beginning. I've done lots of multicam drum videos, so I do have SOME experience in that department. It can be much better though. So...whether it's a legit reason or not, that's my reason!:)

A bit too many examples. I understood it after the first few examples, no need to tell other examples for half an hour.
