The second largest Priest hide in England
Harvington is known for having the largest remaining number of priest hides, but this hide in the attic is by far the largest at the Hall.
The complex layout of Harvington can trick and disorientate the mind, with a series of doors and passages leading off in all directions.

Yes we would love to see some more of those priest-hides , it's fascinating and very interesting and instructive on a historical point. I love the guitar music too it sounds like Jon Sayles , very nice thank you Harvington Hall !

Thank you for sharing these videos. I went to Harvington Hall on a school trip in about 1990 and have always remembered being fascinated with the many ingenious priest holes. It's great to be able to see it all again.
I'm now completely obsessed with this amazing house. I want to go to England just to see it. Obsessed I tell you.

@@meichong8278 sadly no. All plans I had for travel were dropped when my twin sister died (9 months ago) I just lost all urge. I'm hoping to see it but I don't know anyone

@@tesscameron3699 I'm sorry to hear that, it's part of lifestyle tapestry I'm afraid BUT just think a random stranger saw a 3 year old message you wrote ...... and was compelled to write you , hopefully reawakening your dreams to travel and to boot believe it or not I was raised in Scotland .... Edinburgh to be exact .

Would love to see a walkthrough type vid where we see more of a single shot entrance and exit as opposed to a chopped up edit where it gets a bit disorienting looking at multiple angles and shots of wood paneling

At the 5min mark, would that be your reflection of movement or Something else? Within that doorway there is definitely movement in the doorway so is there a reflective surface within that space?🤔. Love a good priest hole I do. Very informative video 👍 superb
