Phil thank you this is wonderful! The history of Catholicism during this period is not known well even by Catholics. We must get to know this period. I am reading a wonderful book by Robert Hugh Benson called "By What Authority" which is truly great. There are some books, however not many of John Gerard, Edmund Campion and Robert Persons which are available if you can hunt them down.

Read The Stripping of the Altars by a Cambridge prof. It really explains what life was like for ordinary ppl who kept having to "switch religions" from day to day.

How are you doing if you please we are as foreigners subscribers as overseas students enjoy to explore places unknown to us to increase our cultural level improve our English language as well so that I gathered main information about places you visited briefly here it’s Harvington is historical place museum Harvington hall is moated medieval Elizabethan manor house of hamlet of Harvington in civil parish of chaddesly for belt south east of kidder minister in English county of Worcester Adam de Harvington lived there in 1300 s built by Nicholas Owen in 1580s thank you for sharing your trips encourage us to read learn new information good luck to you your dearest ones stay safe blessed merry Christmas in advance

….and of course, the Priests in hiding would have no idea how long they’d have to be in there. 😳

I know, right? Isn’t just APPALLING when someone goes out of their way, spending their money and time (two people’s time in this instance), providing people with FREE content, to not do exactly what you think is right?
