The Search for Stannards Grave on the banks of the Jane River Tasmania

Ойын-сауық

In 1901 a young Huon Piner lost his life in the one of Tasmanias most remote areas the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park which is located deep within South West of Tasmania. In 2020 three good mates and adventurers go in search of the Piners grave which was located near where he drowned on the banks of the Jane River. Join the adventure on a 6 day hike into an area seen by only a handful of those that have ever ventured so far.

This one’s right for television or streaming TV companies Levi. Great photography, narrative, it grabs the viewer from the beginning. We so appreciate seeing those amazing wilds in the South West...couldn’t help but feel you got close to the site, but in that terrain you could easily miss seeing it. Now that was bloody brilliant! Cheers for the effort I will definitely be subbing to Robs channel, I can`t wait to check out his content. Did the 2 pairs of socks help? Working on Dunk Island after a cyclone in tropical weather I lost both my entire heels and all the skin between my toes. A few bandaids on the toes and 2 pair o socks cured this for me. I`m looking at jobs in Tassie atm hopefully will be sooner than expected when I get there.

Do you think there would still be any Tassy tigers out in those very remote areas ? It makes you wonder why they would go so far into the wilderness to get wood and the effort to get it out is enormous.

There’s a good chance they are out there we seen some things that we didn’t share until we have something more solid but yes quite possible the Huon pine is just so valuable and yet so rare they went to extreme lengths for sure
