And THIS is precisely why if you are in the music industry you should be cool and let people use your stuff for film or projects. Before this movie I didn't even know about Zeppelin. I grew up in the 2000s and was born in the early 90s so my time was past Zep. This ONE movie introduced me to so much I had never heard of. Be cool and let people use your music folks. I'm still rocking to this day.

This was always my favourite scene in this movie. His face when he's singing the Ah-ah, ah! Brilliant.

my other favorite scene is when he seduced the lady principal Rosalie Mullins (Joan Cusack) in the pub scene 😆🤷🏽‍♂️✌🏽

Robert Plant's wailing cry at the start of this song is probably one of the best intros in rock history.

Imagine your kids are kidnapped by an imposter substitute teacher and he drives them around town all in a van with no seatbelts. School of Rock could have been a whole different kind of movie.

I loved the extras on the DVD where it showed they made a short video begging Zepplin to let them use the song in the film as back then Zepplin were notorious for not letting the music be used in films etc. Just so glad they agreed as this is just a brilliant scene 😎

I saw this beast of a movie as a kid. It did not disappoint back then and still hits today! There are so many classic one liners in this movie.

Jack Black's love for "The Gods Of Led Zeppelin" is endless. When he did "The Kennedy Honors" for Led Zeppelin I coul tell he is a devoted Rock' Roll head. I love it!!!

The BEST musical film ever made.

Still one of the best movies ever to this day

Loved watching School of Rock as a kid! I remember doing the same thing with a few kids and they looked at me like wtf are you talking!! >Music Theory Naming off all the old rock bands and musicians from the 90's, 80's, 70's and 60's! Lol Jack Black is so me that's why I would want to meet him plus I love playing the electric guitar also! Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Black Sabbath, The Who, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Motorhead, Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Queen, Quiet Riot, Dokken, Van Halen, AC/DC etc. Cause they don't listen to rock or heavy metal!!

Got lead zeppelin themselves to say ya that's cool...dude put the shades on and preach the awesomeness of rock/metal (I know they don't like labels but they made some pretty metal stuff!) 😎

Jack Black is like that cool relative who is just nothing but good times.

When I first recorded this movie, it cut out many scenes, including this one. I only found out after I watched another recording.

Omg my grandpa had that same Skeleton in his truck we called him Bones lol

Hamner of the gods."🎶 As that song I discovered is a hard rock & *viking metal* song, which was an *underground* metal subgenre during the 1970's, along with glam metal, doom metal, *and* speed metal.
