At 1:41 she says she's always loosing keys and so is everyone else. This is very irresponsible because I've never lost a house, car, or work key in over 50 years. My keys stay in my pocket until I'm ready to use them then they go right back in; the same with my wallet, ID, and credit cards. Unless I'm actually robbed, I'll never lose my stuff. As for a smart lock, I'll never do that, nor will I make my house smart; it sounds like you guys haven't been watching the news because people are breaking into smart houses and hijacking smart cars, enjoy. I love your TV shows and would love to see the episodes here because I cut the cord last year and don't have cable anymore and will not be getting it again.

@@MikeGuadango Actually I'm a 1967 GenX, but since my parents (1925 & 1932) were late getting into the game of starting a family, I associate more with Boomers than later generations who can't function without their social media safety net.

. It won’t let me enter my programming code. The programming code is a 6 digit number. It only allows me to type the first 3 numbers and then there is a RED X and it won’t allow me to continue to add my code. Can anyone help? I have the Encode

I have the encode installed: while it worked for some time without issues, today I got temporary trapped inside my own home as the lock failed to unlock (either manually turning the knob or using the app). Basically, it’s “jammed during operation “. I had to physically de-install to get into the parts inside and wiggle something to unlock it. This is rather concerning, what happens if I’m coming home and this issue happens? It’s not like I can take it apart from the outside and don’t know if using my physical key would fix it. ****Warning**** Loosing the trust here with Schlage as I need this to work 99.9% as it’s a gatekeeper to my own home!!!

With people being able to hack into the smart devices in your home do you really want that convenience? Easy for you to open easy for a thief to open.
