I don't think Endrick needs to be a new Pele, or a new Ronaldo, Rivaldo, etc. He just needs to be him. Of course it's natural to raise comparisons, but football is very different today than it was in the past. It's not reasonable to measure Endrick's success only by comparing statistics with past athletes, it's better for us to just root for him and hope he can be a succesful player

Have seen he playing a few matches and I think he moves in the field like Maradona. Same for his vision of the game. He dribbles less than Maradona though, and I think he has some Ronaldo Fenomeno ball control tricks when preparing to shoot.

Once upon a time Brazil was the best team in the world, and historically it is still the greatest men's team in history being a 5 time world champion having produced legends in the game. Endrick is a big promise for the future of Brazil soccer-football, but we don't know if he can live up to the hype or not. He has enormous great potential though and the ability to evolve.

Agree! He is a “straight line” player with great strength just like Adriano, so he has potential. But we can’t compare him to more skilled players like Pelé, Maradona, Romário, Neymar etc. So far he reminds me of Gabriel Jesus on his first months in Europe: scoring a lot of goals with luckily positioning and helping a lot defensively. In that time British newspapers thought Jesus would be the best player in the world. This was far from truth. Personally I don’t think he is a great dribbler, passer or constructive player yet, but he can approach that. Who saw Neymar’s debute knows what happens when a GOAT emerges. That’s different: you knew that guy could score alone passing through the whole defense at any time. We don’t have that feeling with Endrik. He is a good kid! But he isn’t in the same tier as Pele, Romario or Neymar.

Brazil historically with their men's team has been the best team in the world and has produced great talents through the history of the game. I think 17 year old phenom Endrick is a superstar kid with a lot of big potential. When Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldo, Erling Haaland and Mbappe where starting their careers nobody knew they would be the big stars of the game they would become today especially Lionel Messi. While Brazil has had players being compared to become the next Pele like Brazil Neymar who is a great player, he never fully matched up to the full expectations. I hope Endrick doesn't make the same mistakes Neymar did or do something worse like Robinho and Daniel Alves did who really did horrible things and now are in jail for sexual assault on women. Players who are athletes are also role models and kids look up to them. I hope Endrick has a good mentor in his professional career as a soccer-football player. He could be a world champion and best player in the world one day who knows? Maybe a lot better then Vinicius Junior and Neymar or be up to the level of Pele, Mane Garrincha, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho Gaucho who knows? But humility is something that has to be taken here, and he has to evolve his game a lot an build up over time. Endrick has enormous potential, and that is something we have not seen in many years since 2002 in Brazil. Some other promising stars showed potential in Brazil like Adriano, Alexandre Pato, Diego, Luis Fabiano, Hulk, Phillipe Coutinho, but none of them really measured up to the full hype. Perhaps Neymar has been the best player Brazil has produced since 2002 and since Brazil last ended their world title defense in 2006 in Germany when the golden era of Brazil ended. While Brazil has been competitive over the years, they have not been as dominant in the world championships as before with the exception of Futsal, under 20 and under 17 and beach soccer championships but not with the men and women's division.
