No, Mbappe has to be striker, and he has to be allowed to drift wide on either side. Sticking Mbappe on the right wing is severely holding him back, he won’t score nearly as much, his specialty is cutting in from the left side and smacking the ball into either corner of the goal. He is unstoppable in that position. Sure playing RW worked well in the 2018 World Cup but he wasn’t scoring from that position

But he can only reach the second tier. And thats great! But we cant compare him to Ronaldo or Neymar. I’ve watched Neymar’s debute…every one stopped to see Santos play. He was amazingly ready since the first time he stepped on that field. A lot of us think his best season was with Santos, not Barça. And although Barça defeated Santos in the world club final, Santos was a demolished team by then…with most of his best players already gone or injured. You see: the thing about tier one players is that they don’t evolve, they don’t need to evolve. Unfortunately they have such high level they can only decay or maintain.

I don’t think Richarlison is inconsistent, he just took off later. Really the only time he was inconsistent was his first season at Spurs. But even that season he did very well for Brazil. While Endrick will replace him at some point, they’re in a very good spot where they’re old enough that Endrick will start to replace him as he gets more experienced and Richarlison gets older.
