Still the fastest way to get a whole lot of people on the ground in far away locations. Success though depends upon have complete control of the skies. Lumbering Air Force transports carrying hundreds of soldiers over vast distances are extremely vulnerable to both enemy aircraft and ground fire.

Correct, I thought they used the sea knights (at least the Navy did) which is an old version of the chinook. I stand corrected
us army's international all of the world army so airborne and weapons support navy craft information etc very important more and more important airborne solders

From a former paratrooper there were a number of errors detailing the jumpmaster inspection and the order of preparation. Did the author not have paratroopers proof it before posting?

Because paratroopers are vulnerable to anti-air fire from ground defenders, all Combat Jumps are at low altitude (400-500 ft) and from the target area at night. Full Combat Gear can add allot of extra weight and Desent Speed and after your Jump Count Not much time to check your Canopy (Parachute) decide whether to Pull a reserve chute Drop your equipment and land properly so you don't injure yourself, reserves are great for Training Jumps but Not Combat Jumps.

HALO is not done as a mass drop operation. That falls in the special operations area.

Stealth? A flight of C-130s, C-17s, or C-5s thundering overhead at jump altitudes disgorging thousands of troopers is hardly a stealthy attack. Surprise maybe, but not very stealthy.

After all of the safety inspection idiots still get on the plane and take their equipment off dude took his helmet off soon as plane hits turbulence or gets shot out of the air and he cracks his egg head it's the jump masters fault always one on every jump
