If you mean Spider-Man from Earth-2149. I think he’s less creepy. Only for the fact that he retained his humanity and even found himself redeemed in the end of the saga. Sure, he may have the higher body count, and a similar sadistic nature at certain points (usually when his mind becomes clouded by the hunger). But, in my opinion. A savage yet remorseful, guilt-ridden zombie who still clings onto his good ways of yesteryear is an easier pill to swallow than an already sadistic, sociopathic freak given monstrous power.

There was also another movie (don't remember the name i am sorry) about some dude becoming a giant cockroach monster and it would wear their victims faces on its head, it got really focused on attacking our group of protagonists because, and i kid you not, it wanted to fuck the girl in the group, iirc they literally used her clothes to bait it where they could kill it (i don't remember the specifics, but that part of what the monster wanted stuck with me because young me found the actress really hot and when they reveal why the monster was after her it was a total boner kill because now I was deathly afraid of the possibility of seeing a giant cockroach trying to smash

This is basically the Earth vs the Spider remake, a film which caused me to have arachnophobia due to seeing it when I was only 8. I'd be mad at my dad, but he thought it was some kind of Spider-Man thing, not a horror movie. This was 2001 and we had no built in TV guide at the time. Also, why did I watch this when I knew it was gonna be like this?

In a way that would actually strengthen the whole secret identity thing, you wouldn't expect spiderman to have arthritis so you wouldn't suspect an arthritis stricken peter parker

I don't know how arthritis really works, but one of the treatments i can find is, Physical exercise helps relieve some of the pain. Physical exercise strengthens the body. Spiderman got enhanced strength from the Spiderbite, so wouldn't his strengthened muscles be alleviated from much of the pain? Also, Spiderman usually leads a very active lifestyle as well.

There was a movie like this called "Earth versus the Spider" where a guy injects himself with some experimental Spider juice thinking it will turn him into a superhero but ends up becoming a spider monster who eats people. The make up and effects were not really that bad in the movie and i actually kinda liked it. Give it a watch.

"Stop me if you've heard this one... worlds will live, worlds will die... but imagine if your every fear, each bad decision, gave birth to a malformed world of nightmare. A world that shouldn't exist. And desperate as it fights to survive in the light of the true multiverse far above... these worlds are doomed to rot apart, and die, because they are wrong at their core. Welcome to the Dark Multiverse. Home to stories that should never be... It's all one big cosmic joke, except no one on this side is laughing. ...well, almost no one..." Quoted by The Batman Who Laughs "I'm the only one left who remembers the Infinite Earths. You see, I know the truth. I remember all that happened, and I'm not going to forget. Worlds lived, worlds died. Nothing will ever be the same. But those were great days for me... I had a good friend in the good old days, really. He was the Anti-Monitor. He was going to give me a world to rule. Now he's gone, too. But that's okay with me. You see, I like to remember the past because those were better times than now. I mean, I'd rather live in the past than today, wouldn't you? I mean, nothing's ever certain anymore. Nothing's ever predictable like it used to be. These days... y-you just never know who's going to die... and who's going to live." Quoted by Psycho Pirate in Crisis on Infinite Earths issue #12. page 42.
