Thank you Linwood for your site. I am 80 in 3 months and use your site to tie ties. My two favorites are the scale knot and the carnation Knot ( I think it looks like a rose and so does my lady friend). I do a different knot each week and everyone at my church ( Pentecostals of Sante Fe, Santa Fe Texas) can't wait each week to see what knot you have taught me. Thanks for your site and for your stand for Jesus.
My apologies y'all! I forgot to flip the image this time!! THANK YOU to all of my subscribers who brought it to my attention! I really appreciate it! Linwood~

My objective in tie knots ! Working up to it 1knot at a time. After grasping a couple of your other knots and reviewing this one, it appears a lot simpler then it seemed at first. You give clear solid instructions, they only need be followed as illustrated and.....voila !

Hello, I love your videos and I really appreciate the time, effort and creativity you put down into making these knots. I am also grateful that you choose to share them with everyone, for free no less! I really admire this knot in particular. When I try to tie it I find that my 'scales' tend to climb towards the sides rather than adding on each other layer upon layer. The resulting knot doesn't nearly as good as the one you show in the video. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? God bless and greetings from Sweden!

+Wesley Holland gotcha! Have you considered purchasing long ties? They are about a foot longer than a standard tie and enable taller men and men with larger necks to wear nearly any knot they like. If you are interested in getting a long tie, check out my friends at www.thecorvancollection.com They can make you a longer tie, and even custom make it based on your taste so you look great AND no one else is copying your exact style. You can also check out www.longtiestore.com (it might be www.thelongtiestore.com) for longer ties. They have a pretty good selection also, but their colors and styles are a bit more limited. Thank you SO MUCH for watching and wearing my ties, I greatly appreciate it!

+Rob Padz thanks!
I really like the way this one looks, thanks for doing this. The one piece of feedback I would offer is that your knots are not solely based on the moves themselves. The Eldredge knot, for example, anyone can do because it's just about the moves, you don't have to do anything extra. The vast majority of your knots require a LOT more attention to detail and simply doing the moves won't result in the finished product you create. At least this is my experience, I've been following you for the past 18 months, have tried a lot of your knots, and have found that I really need to pay attention to the little things you do. That said, it would help me (and I assume others) that you explain, more in detail, the moves that you do. For example, in this knot, if you're not getting the folds a certain way, it's not going to turn out the way you have it. If you could explain how exactly you do the L folds and how you get them to look like you do, I'd appreciate it! I'm also talking to in reference to a lot of your other knots, because your knots are much more artistic (which I love) and would appreciate more detail in your explanations. Thanks man!
@WhoSeesThis
7 жыл бұрын
+Stephen Velner this is quite possibly the best feedback I have ever gotten! Thank you very much! I will make it a point to pay more attention to how I describe the details!! I appreciate your critique! Thanks!

Hey man, I love this knot but I’m having trouble tucking the small end in the little loop that your using. It always tends to ruin my whole knot.
