Interesting, its just dawned on me this decade and the next are where we try out women as chiefs and leaders. Their biggest handicap are weak hands so they cant work up the chain of command. But who knows,maybe they will bring an unique perspective and thinking rarely seen in the industrious world. Only time will tell😎❤❤

The captain on the thumbnail constantly looks like he has the sad/crying filter from snap on his face permanently.. like he’s gonna burst into tears at any second

happy to see Jake is killing it, and no better mentor for Bob then Jake.

Really technical fishing, Jake does a great job explaining it. He's managing, but communicating and motivating in a positive fashion at the same time.

When running a long line trap like that you need to have prop guards on your boat so you don't get the lines caught up in your prop

All Jake had to do was turn to starboard as they threw the buoys if the current was that strong. It’s not that tough bc you can get back on track very quickly, it’s just kicking the wheel away from the line and buoys.

Is DC so desperate they need to fuel a female tv market. On the other hand my morning ferry captain was a woman. I’m totally cool with that. There are some jobs not suited for women. Slinging traps on a crab boat is one them.

I've been at sea for 20 years. Women at sea have different rules and are treated very differently. Modern equipment like automated winches have made it more equal, women would have struggled with man handling the ropes years ago.
