I'm shocked that Rocksteady would pay probably $50k+ to get an outside company of people who don't know or CARE about the characters to make story suggestions. They have zero skin in the game. If the game succeeds, they can take credit. If it fails, they say well the problems were in the game mechanics and execution. Heads I win. Tails you lose. Amazing that such an obvious conflict of interests is encouraged.

@@austinsmith5529 I’m actually friends with someone who worked on weapons for SSKTJL and also worked on Asylum. Trust me when I say… even devs knew it was a shitshow on the inside. It was an upper management and WB issue I believe, don’t blame devs or the OG Arkham devs that were still working for the company 😞

Green lantern being stripped down to nothing and flash being pissed on is wild they decided to put that in game trying to be too edgy my guess, also how Endymion pointed out how Peter is treated in spiderman 1 compared to 2 cause of sweet baby inc involvement is quite correct he went from a hero standing his own ground basically pulling an Arkham knight and In 2 gets degraded in power and now he can’t spiderman without miles and miles being pushed super heavily now that he’s the main “Spider-Man” when he should be his own Spider-Man with his own name so much for “be yourself” huh insomniac

Gontam Knights isn't perfection. They killed their Batman twice. But both times they did it in an epic way.

This game should have been Justice League Kills the Suicide Squad. Why in the year of our lord 2024 would DC think it was a good idea to make a game in which the villains get to kill the superheroes? It's like making a Star Wars game but this time the Empire defeats the rebellion. Vader kills Luke, Han, and Lea and has C3P-0 and R2-D2 turned into scrap metal. It seems that feminists have become the very thing they are supposed to be fighting against. Writing stories in which male characters are the victim of misandry is not the way to combat misogyny.

The game is about killing the justice league bc that's literally what the a group of villains do; they go against super-heroes. The JL killing the suicide squad makes no sense in-universe wise (unless they're brainwashed just like in this game). If you guys think that an almost entirely male team of supervillains killing superheroes is somehow "feminist propaganda", then stay away from comics. You're just whining snowflakes, and you'd neuter comics by making worlds where the heroes never lose.

I feel like we were robbed of a much more interesting game concept. Arkham Batman suiting up one last time w the bat family vs a corrupted justice league would’ve been way cooler, and could’ve been everything Gotham knights was supposed to be. Or Batman and the SS reluctantly teaming up works well too. Or just having a Wonder Woman v justice league story would’ve been awesome, to finally have WW have her chance to shine.

They are going to bring the JL back but I guess they haven't taken into account the character assassination of heroes who are not known for *not* killing going after civilians as clones maybe there would've been wiggle room but now their hands are drenched in blood. Especially batman, lantern and superman.

Peter Parker took a few hits in the second game. But the rumors of him dying in the 3rd one so Miles can replace him will be concerning. Batman and Spider-Man are the favorite of many, as is Logan. It would suck if they mess Wolverine up, especially because of how he is and the like.

i honestly don't mind the theories floating around as to why he was essentially a punching bag in the 2nd game one of them being "he misses aunt may and has feelings of guilt surrounding her death added so he's not at his best mentally like he was in the first game" i can buy into that but i just wish it was made more apparent throughout the game and not just something that was highlighted once in the mr negative sequence.

if miles is introduced Spider-Man is bound to die. The whole point of Miles is being Peter’s predecessor. It all depends on how he passes, but the way there is obviously a hate boner for male characters, his death would probably be lame as hell. Peter “dying” or retiring permanently was the way Peter’s trilogy would end. And you won’t like it but comic book wise it is the obvious route. And Peter will most likely die fighting Green Goblin. But the ps4 miles is so lame so I myself don’t like him being the Spider-Man

My main problem with miles isn’t his character it’s the fact that they created him in order to replace Peter as Spider-Man they never planned on having them coexist at all they had to go that route cause Peter has a bigger fan base but truth is miles was always written to replace the OG and that annoys me about his character

@@TheTom20 in spider man 2 they nerfed Peter. Had him get taken down so easily by Kraven order to get the black suit. Wasn’t even a fight kraven just stabs him and he dies. Which dosen’t make sense because in the first game he’s been stabbed twice didn’t just die sure he got his ass kicked but it was an actual fight and not a one and done. Plus they made him a damsel in distress that had to be saved by Miles and Mj when it counted in moments where he should’ve been saving everyone. They also had him simping for and apologizing to mj like a little bitch. First off insomniacs version of mj is a Lois lane ripoff she’s not a reporter in the comics she’s a supermodel. This version is a selfish narcissist. She doesn’t really CARE about Peter she just wants to be his equal and just cares about her job. Then there’s Miles Pete’s replacement has no REAL villains of his own barley any real identity but yet he protecting New York while Peter takes a break? Shall I go on?

Guys, I made a mistake. I bought the arkham trilogy for the switch, this giving rocksteady finantial support that they deffinetly don’t deserve. What they did to Batman was trully despicable, but I miss the times when life was much simpler. I miss the times when I booted up arkham city, and I heard Kevin Conroy’s voice, delibering every line with unfathomable passion. I really miss Kevin, so I’m gonna be off to play these three games and enjoy them for my inner child. As for rocksteady, they ought to be ashamed for what they did not just to batman, but to the best actor to ever portray him. I hope their CEO resigns

Only hero im not worried for is wolverine. I watched the leaked cutscenes and i was surprised by one. Mystique talks to him at her place and they get in a fight. Mystique starts getting the upper hand and i was rolling ny eyes. Then wolverine full strength pins her against the wall by her neck and tells him never to touch her again and shes so petrified they dont talk to each other after. I was VERY surprised that scene was allowed. So for now, Logan is in the clear. Insomniac Spiderman i refused to even buy the game. The cutscenes make peter an inept idiot that i dont know how he survived against his villains when he was solo before. The obvious forced miles moments and the disgusting line "Why would the city need me when it has you". I flat out rolled my eyes and groaned at that. Mark my words, if wolverine gets a sequel, we're getting X-23 forced moments and an emasculated and bumbling idiot Logan

Arkham Knight shat the bed anyway. World of Tanks is almost as irritating as MJ missions, the Riddler stuff was a horrendous grind, and Batman being outed as Bruce is not only the end of Batman, but inevitably of his wards as well. Turning him into knock-off Iron Man is trash.

The game I'm most worried about is Captain America & Black Panther.

Ok, now I'm legit worried about the upcoming Iron Man game.

At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they announced X-23 was going to be in the Wolverine game… … then as time passes they’ll reveal she’s a core supportive character in the game… then as more time passes they’ll reveal she’s one of the main characters… THEN, when the game actually releases, she’ll be revealed to be the star and focus of the game, while Logan is severely weakened and takes a back seat (or is killed off). This is the sad state of male superheroes in media. Expect that modern writers will absolutely clown your favorites, to prop any and all female characters up.

Hate to break it to you but they have been doing this for a LONG LONG LONG time, but it’s been mostly in the comics up to recently. The difference is that doing it in the games gets WAY MORE attention on it.

If I wrote Suicide squad kill the justice League I would have had the League while brainwashed all feel like absolute monsters not super evil just have their normal heroic themes be turned Prowler style. As Batman you terrorized criminals, as the squad you would feel the fear these heroes bring, and every boss battle with them would be a do or die situation. Also would switch Wonder Woman with Batman because as much as I do believe in equality my anger is more important. So Batman helps the squad fight the league but you have a choice whether or not to kill them, it would take less time and preparation to kill them but at the end if all the league members are dead most people would hate your guts, except Penguin he would praise the squad. It would also lead to an epic battle between Superman and Batman with Batman heroically sacrificing himself to save the squad...Save the league by grinding your absolute butt off and listen to everything Batman says then the best ending would happen. Justice League is saved, Brainiac is dead, everyone except Penguin loves your guts, and the Squad are requested to join the Justice League.

Frankly, I don't buy it that Batman could fall under mindcontrol. In three games he was able to resist the effects of poison, mind control, and fear toxin. Not even to mention the Joker trying to take over Batmans mind after death.

I understand. What I mean is even as a recording it’s more “out of character for Batman” but if that was a Bruce Wayne hologram it would make sense the whole Celebrity talking to kids thing. Sort of how at the beginning of Arkham City he really sells the Billionaire playboy persona. Basically, Batman is speaking as “Bruce Wayne” and it’s still something to get used to. Since this is the first time in the Arkham verse they’re navigating a world where his identity is known

Deep in my soul I'm betting the message has already been spread, Also I'm blaming David Zaslav on suicide squads failure considering the fact it was his decision to make the game live service, He's also going to make other WB games live service as well Thinking it's the greatest idea ever. (Same bastard that called The flash "The greatest superhero movie ever" and never even bothered watching Coyote vs. Acmne and decided to cancel it anyway) This message will hopefully show gaming companies that not every game has to be live service and there's no need to kill off the main character all the time. The thing about Peter getting “nerfed” wasn’t because they hated the character it’s more or so him tackling with the death of Aunt May and the game even explores this when Miles and Martin Li go into his mind seeing him having to deal with the burdens placed on him making seem incompetent and weak. Suicide Squad on the other hand felt completely idiotic hands down, it felt like I was playing Fortnite with worse gameplay and butt jokes.

(If you care to read here’s my long response) The response I give to Peter being hung up about Aunt Mays death is why now? Spider-Man 2 takes place roughly 2 years after the 1st and now he’s struggling with it? When in all of the dlc of the 1st game Aunt Mays death iirc isn’t brought up at all or shown to have an effect on Peter despite the dlc taking place only months after she passed. The only time he speaks about her is at the end of Miles Morales when he says he’s moving into her home. And of course back then they couldn’t “explore” how Aunt Mays death burdened him because they hadn’t established a new Spider-Man to take the lead and give Peter a backseat. So it wouldn’t make sense for him to be incompetent and weak cause who would save the day? But notice how it all started in Miles own game with him getting beaten by Rhino and all the excuses people made for that. Was he struggling with Aunt Mays death too back then? It was clearly just a teaser of what was to come in the sequel. And forget Peter for a second cause Miles has lost people too. But the less experienced spider-man isn’t depicted as incompetent but instead fueled by revenge to get it back in blood against Martin Li. Ironic considering how much Miles preached to Phin about doing it the “right way” when she wanted to blow up half of Harlem to get back at Roxxon and Krieger. And speaking of Phin, is Miles shown to be hung up over her death? It’s mentioned only briefly in the sequel but evidently no. Yes, Peter had to choose between aunt May and the city which understandably would burden him. But the timing of it all and its execution is done poorly and ultimately disrespectfully. And finally some of the writers do indeed have a bone to pick with Peter and one day I may actually address how that’s so. Because while Peter can’t seem to do anything right in his sequel Miles on the other hand can do no wrong and that depiction is intentional.

One of these days, karma is going to catch up to Sweet Baby Inc. and they'll be put out of business.
