Also it's pretty ironic that the game tries to sell that ivy has such a connection with Harley that even after Death she can still somewhat remember her Even though they don't have anything like that in the original games, and the only moment Ivy speaks about Harley in Arkham Knight is to insult her as she says in a little disdain "even poor Harley was there" And even if she was hiding some feelings, it would all be gone after the scarecrow's plan, that would destroy all plants in the city Harley literally helped him and didn't even move a finger to help her supposed lover after she's locked in a cell. There's no reason for ivy to care for her I really like this Ship, I personally think some shows can put these Harley x Ivy characters to work and be very cute (I personally love those two together). But in the Arkham series this idea does not work

34:50 Shark using the GL ring isn't even the issue considering it's less about purity and more about Will Power, if Nanaue has the will power he can use it, the issue really lays on everything around it. 1- The Ring reject and abandon John Stewart the second he got braniac-fied or the second he started to kill innocents, breaking the first rule of the GLC "No lethal force until one is proven to be a definitive threat to peace or liberty" 2- The Ring would have left John Stewart the second he died looking for a new host at light speed. Even if King Shark managed to take the ring, the ring could have denied King shark and if forced to would have used it's defenses to escape 3-If King Shark had the will power to use the ring, the Ring would have adapted to King Shark's finger, but even if we ignore that aswell the second King Shark's will power proved to be enough to weild the ring, it would have been impossible to remove it unless King Shark wanted to or if (No the New 52 animated movies don't count because 1- different continuity 2- it's something that has happened only in that continuity, not to mention it's a bullshit point that never gets used for anything other than a joke) 4- The Green ring doesn't even touch the user's psyche so why in the world did King Shark lose his mind?

I agree with you on this just 1 correction characters are limited to a set of guns for example Deadshot cannot use shotguns or miniguns, Boomer cannot use miniguns or assault rifles, harly cannot use shotguns or assault rifles and king shark cannot use pistols or smgs.... and yes this is a stupid way to try and add variety to the characters.

You're right on that, my mistake. However the point still kinda stands in the case that all but one character can use certain guns. In the case of the shotgun, even though Deadshot can't use it, King Shark can use it, whose a better version of Boomerang. So even though not everyone can technically use any gun, it still whittles the character options down to 2 at best, and that's if you don't consider the guns as just basic stat sticks, which if you do, then the type of gun matter way less to you, as long as it gets the job done.

Gotham Knights isn't suddenly a good or even decent game cuz this one is trash. I recently reinstalled and tried to play and uninstalled it the next day. That was after I already put just over 30 hours into it before. I really wanted to like GK but I just couldn't do it lol

I really didn’t like Deadshot’s character. He acted like a loser that took a super soldier serum. Now he’s buff af and can shoot guns well, but he still has his ‘loser’ characteristics. He reminds me more of an antihero from ‘Kickass’ or a parody of an antihero.

And no, not anyone can put on a Green Lantern ring after they die. When a lantern dies the ring seeks a new wielder. Should let you know all you need to know about the people who wrote this.

Batman should have been the final boss, after taking over Brainiac's mind, and it should be the one time where NPC squad members can be downed, and if you don't revive them, you lose them forever. The game should also check for Arkham Knight saved data, and if it finds it, put Batman in whatever skin you have him in in save one

In regards to the poison ivy thing, it's going to be future dlc mark my words 😅

Also Harley killed Batman with a revolver and you hear the casing hit the floor. Revolvers DON'T WORK THAT WAY!

Ain't no way you ctually pay for this game, bro. Giving it to charity would've been better.

If this game was just called Suicide Squad give Deadshot the guns Harley her pistol, bat, & freeflow combat, Boomerang his boomerangs, & freeflow combat, King shark just brute strength & biting animations This game would've been so much better. And if they didn't kill the JL and just have them be that secret taskforce that gets deployed somewhere, this would've been so much better

Honeslty. This game has a lot of problems. The boss figths have interesting ideas but just feel plain stupid given how every preivous scene sets up how easily each hero can overpower the squad. The story is fine for the most part if a bit dumb, and the gameplay is fun enouph, but repetative as there isn't anything to spice it up/change or improve it past what you get at the start. Even hhe skill trees feel a bit tacked on as they don't really change how you play. But if you ask me, most of the games issues stem from the decicion not to make this a live service, but a looter shooter. This was an incredibly bad decicion in my book for one reason. It made the game desgined around fighting the random enemies and minions. And NOT around the boss fights. And that's a huge issue. This games combat systems and mechanics are NOT desgined for boss fights at ALL. It's desgined for frantic, chaotic shoot outs. Not boss fights against super powered indiivduals. They can't create interesting mehanics or gameplay moments, beacuse the whole thing is desinged around guns and moving from place to place and shooting things. How would you make a boss fight against batman work? He's just a human being in a batsuit. He can't use his gadgets to disable our guns or we can't even fight. He can't sneak around and ambush us beacuse we have no means to counter that. He can't jump down and punch us, beacuse we have no melee combos or mechanics beyond the basic attack. This extends to the whole game. Looter shooters generally don't have very good boss fights outside of borderlands and this game proves why. Rather than building itslef around each characters unique gimmick and skll set, eveyone just shoots and gets around the city diffrently. THAT is a huge problem and explains why each boss fight feels so dumb. There is nothing they can acutally DO with this combat system. Functionally, let's think about this. How is Joker going to play any diffrent to deathstroke? Or Mr/Nora Freeze in future content? He moves around the citty diffrently? What else? What is the point of new playable characters if they all play the same at the end of the day and don't have anything to truly make them unique comabt wise?

Two questions: I heard they already have dlc ready and so much money that they will have no problem keeping the game alive and the servers open, what do you think? 2: We need to find a way to figure out how many people are playing it on PS5, cause that's where the real fanbase is. Everyone is wondering and nobody give an answer. Do you think it's possible to find out? If you have any ideas you can make a video on it, you would be the first in the whole youtube to give an idea of how many people play it on PS5. Cause it depends only on this how long the game will last.

At First I was skeptical that the Justice League would be killed by the Suicide Squad but I thought WB mislead us and that they would Unbrainwashed later, but then when they Announced that this will be connected to the Arkham Series I was one of the few people who saw the Red Flags, then Kevin Conroy passed away and this would have been one of the Last Roles( with Crisis Part 3 seemingly being his Final Role), and don’t get me started on the multiple Delays for 3 Goddamn Years, the Shooting Mechanic, and the Live Server B$, I knew that this would be not just a Bad Game, but a Insult to DC and Arkham Fans that would have loved to see Rocksteady make either a Superman, Batman Beyond, or Justice League Game but now it’s clear that the Original People behind the Arkham Games have left and are given the Keys to New People that don’t understand what they’re doing that would lead this Once Great Company into Bankruptcy in the Most Distasteful and Distasteful Way Possible, Nobody in their Right Minds would want a Game that you killed off Some of your Favorite Heroes in Cold Blood, the Live Server Shooter Angle is a Terrible Game for a DC Game, the Only Good Character is King Shark, I like Deadshot but his Anger with Green Lantern is Doom, this is the Wrost Harley Quinn played by Tara Strong I didn’t like, Captain Boomerang is the Worst Character in the Game, Lex is more Enjoyable than Waller, the Graphics are a Major Downgrade to the Arkham Games especially when Knight was pure Perfection even if the Game is Overrated, the Side Characters are Boring, and is just Depressing and Not in a Good or Enjoyable Way when you Play or Watch, all I can Say is that MK1 and Spider-Man 2 are far better than this Abomination that I wish was Cancelled completely.

Personally I prefer Avengers. The story mode at least felt like an actual video game. I never found Squad to be fun. Avengers at least you feel like Captain America when you play Captain America. You feel like Iron Man when you play Iron Man. And the traversal cooldown is insane. I tried to main Harley, I really did. But some Riddler traversal challenges as her, just don't work. I'm glad I started with her because once I got her to 30 I dropped her like a bad habit. Black Widow in Avengers plays kind of like Harley, but I don't remember feeling miserable when I played as Black Widow. Iron Man to me felt better than Deadshot. Hulk at least felt like the Hulk when I played as him. The only thing that made characters unique in Suicide Squad was the melee button and traversal. The only part I liked was when Batman hunts you. They could have made a cool Batman asymettrical multiplayer game out of that. We got this instead.

Dunno, what it is... But your style and your review of the Souls series was the most entertaining thing i've seen on this platform for a while. You deserve a sub.

Yes Arkham City Deadshot would be like this because he was like this in the Assault on Arkham Movie. Deadshot is not Deadshot. My theory for this game is no one at rocksteady wanted to make a suicide squad game and that warner brothers made them change the story multiple times the reason i think this is due to rocksteadys respect for lore and former design which is just not shown in this game and my ongoing guess is rocksteady had to rework and overhaul entire systems in the game during development with some assets in the files just never getting used or shown in any cutscenes most of the blame can be shown to warner brothers during this travesty of a game

I honestly don't think there's anywhere for Rocksteady to go that'll bring anyone back....They treated one of DC's most Iconic characters for decades and the progenitor of their company like this.... So, I don't think many would trust any character based game from them anymore... then you throw in that this is CANON...and Theres nowhere to go, no Justice League, No Batman, No Superman, they would have to start with a different ark entirely.. And then, Im not sure how Warner Bros/DC would let them after seeing what they did after 7+ years of development. Hell, any company would be wary after this and the time they took to create this bull...

I will say it's not an issue any class can use any gun; hell look at Borderlands, however it's the fact not any class can easily synergize with every gun.

I have been using the words "baffling" and "confounding" to describe the narrative of this game. Everything the characters do make me ask questions. Why does Brainiac want to make EARTH into New Colu when he has access not just to all of fucking space, but potentially OTHER UNIVERSES? Why did the Squad even continue working for Waller at all, when they knew early on that Waller DESTROYED the bomb removal machine, and later she told her task force she would never let them go? Why are the squad members EXCITED to keep killing more Brainiacs in the end? These are just some of the questions I had.

I prefer the Brainiac from the comics and Injustice where he collects worlds to enhance his knowledge and since Brainiac's home world is pretty much irrelevant to him I don't know where the f they got this from

Batman Arkham trilogy can be playable offline, but Suicide Squad kill the justice league are unplayable offline

This rocksteady doesn't have the same people as the old rocksteady

Great video. -Spoiler item below- I had heard other people mention the following mistake, but I had not actually seen/heard it until I watched your video. When Harley shoots Batman you hear the shell casing bouncing around after the shot... that came from a revolver... Shows even more how little they cared about that cinematic.

This game made me like Borderlands 2 a lot more

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the devs actively go on Twitter and attack some people because someone said this isn’t what Kevin would have wanted? Which is true I doubt this what he wanted but no one knows cuz the god himself is currently up in heaven milly rocking with the greats just how this game moves and how bad it is is just sad I wasn’t ever gonna buy and play it I spent my 70 on p3 and p4 even though I played these games before I rebought them because they are still more fun then this by watching the gameplay I couldn’t even keep my attention on it

I played all the Arkham games except for knights and I was really disappointed and enraged as a dc and Arkham Batman fan to have it go out like a pet being put because I felt it sent a message that they didn’t give two shits about the fans who made them so renowned. Honestly, like why?!, this has happened when I watched Star Wars, when Han Solo was killed, when they kill Joel just for Ellie to not get revenge, and now this, I’m honestly shocked that they greenlit this garbage, after they killed Batman I uninstalled it, screamed every curse I knew, and demanded a full refund for the horrible performance and the shit that the people who wrote this story shoveled into my face

As a massive Superman and Batman fan, I can't tell whether I hate this game more for ruining the legacy of the Arkham Batman games, or for throwing all the absolute potential of a single-player Superman game in the same vein as Arkham or the Spider-Man's into the garbage (and also character assassinating both Batman and Superman themselves).
