The S Jaishankar Interview: Foreign Minister Jaishankar Talks On Canada, Congress, China & More
In an exclusive interview to PTI late Thursday, S Jaishankar spoke about India's relations with Canada and China, battling the Congress in elections and why the government & opposition lack concsensus on foreign policy. Jaishankar said India respects and practices freedom of speech, but that does not equate with freedom to threaten foreign diplomats, extend support to separatism or allow political space to elements advocating violence.

Poor interviewers. They don't seem to get the answers of EAM. Keep asking with their preconceived notions. Is it a lack of sharpness in intellect or a commitment to an Agenda on the part of the interviewers. EAM had to finally use an expression of 'common sense' and 'straight forward'. Wasted opportunity of a fruitful discussion with a tall intellectual from the Union Cabinet.
