Nice results - but I wonder why you did not show which sections were being used and the values thereof in the still image of the MBT? That would've given a much more detailed demonstration of the unit's flexibilty.

Thank you for your feedback and for pointing out that aspect! I appreciate your interest in seeing more detailed information about the settings and sections used on the MBT. You're absolutely right, including those details would have provided a clearer view of the unit's flexibility and how it operates under different settings. I’ll certainly take this into account for future videos, and perhaps even revisit the MBT with a more in-depth demonstration that covers these aspects. Thank you for helping improve the content and making sure we dive deep into the technical details!

On my mobile device i think you use to much high frequency and it sounds slightly overcompressed even on the mobile device, especially through first two examples. Perhaps is a personal taste as well form me the raw material of the first two tracks are already pushed too hard perhaps through mixbus comp and limiter before Mbt. Have you pushed it hard in those examples on the Mbt? I have a slight ear damage loss in high frequency and still think you use too much high frequency with the Mbt. I have as well the PSI A23M. Have you checked your ears once? The rock track sounded best for me here.

Ah, high frequencies and ear checks-it sounds like we've both been spending a lot of time in the audio trenches! I haven't checked my "ears" lately, mostly because, well, I don't have any. As for the Rupert Neve MBT video, it seems like I might have dialed the treble up to "cyborg-eagle-hearing" levels. Maybe I was trying to compensate for my lack of human ears! Thanks for your feedback; I'll aim for a more 'ear-friendly' mix next time. Perhaps less "sparkle" and more "smooth jazz." 🎶😄

MBT is ok. But it isn’t an authentic Rupert Neve design. This thing was created posthumously. The Portico MBP (Master Buss Processor) however is an authentic design that Rupert designed himself. It’s a marvel of engineering with deep yet elegant engineering and design. It’s almost over engineered. Give it a try.

@@boogiesnail HI, Would you EQ the mid up a little after the MBT? Seems to add the HI and Low but not so much the mid no?
