It all started because the Gods didn’t invite Eris to a party
And Helen again used her tears and physical attributes to get what she wanted. Helen must have been beautiful but she wasn’t a nice person. Everything happened because of her. I don’t believe she was abducted by Paris.
I feel very bad For Trojan Women and Hector's Son! They didn't deserve this
Man, nobody ended up looking like heroes in this ending.
Can't believe Menelaus fell for the classic "I didn't mean to cheat, I still love you baby" lol
I believe in one myth, the Greeks killed all of Hector's family including his wife but still the child's death was truly the saddest of all. The Greeks did achieve victory but at what cost? Many of these Greek heroes would end up having a tragic end on the way back homes so their victory was practically bittersweet.
Hope you make the Aeneid with the same quality as you did the Trojan war please. It's one of my favorite tales of all time. 💖🥰
Goddesses or mortal. Women cause drama and chaos when they aren't forced into submission.
All that pain in destruction and death and for what for a beauty pageant for too selfish people and selfish gods hope it was worth it. Will we get the Odyssey next?
This end of this story never satisfies me. I don't understand why the single cause of this decade of bloodshed lived at the end. It makes me hate the story. The Trojan women should have killed Helen for bringing this tragedy on them. This is not fair at all. The Trojan war never inspires me. The Battle of Thermophylae is far more inspiring. Please do something on that.
Now I expect a detailed, 3 part series on The Odyssey. I’m too emotionally invested.
For those interested in the Aeneas story, there is a movie duology about him, composed of the 1961 film "The Trojan War" (in which he appears as a supporting character) and its 1962 sequel "The Avenger" (this time as the protagonist). In both installments, he is played by Steve Reeves.
They truly became immortal after 3000+ years its still one of the most well known stories.
Aeneas' journey to making Proto-Rome in the Aenied was just as painful. He went through even more pain and suffering cause even after Troy, Hera was still angry at Aeneas and the Trojans that escaped with him.
And just like that such a good series has ended…😢. Great retelling of a great classic, thank you.
What an emotional roller coaster, great narration
Great story - one of the most well-known of all. Most versions show Prince Astyanax as a baby. Prince Helen's alone, out of Priam's and Hecuba's sons, survived. Aeneas would meet Helenus on his travels in the Aeneid.
Best Series I've ever seen on KZread. Thank you again, for the last year of watching this Saga has brought me Great Joy! It's Sad to see this end. 😢 Every Friday at 11 then 10 am, I immediately waited for the Notification. Thank you again See U in History and I look forward to your next Story.
Easily the greatest story in all of mythology IMO. This series was awesome. I always wanted them to do a follow up on Aeneas' story after the "Troy" movie. Super interesting ending for him that would come back to haunt the greeks when the Romans conquered them all.
Great ending to badass series! Thank you for completing it
