No one wants to talk about that. Pienaar said that french was a disgrace. Clearly Pienaar was a disagrace. And the day of the 2011 final, rugby was a total disgrace.

Too bad you didn't put the Final between France and NZ where Joubert didn't gave a single penalty to France inside the AB's half (never seen before in any final ever) despite repeated numerous outrageous faults by the ABs just in front of the referee.

It's still a massive shame that Scotland lost unfairly to Australia. I think they could have put up a fight against the Pumas and they would have certainly done better than we did.

@@ConnorDoesRugby seeing either Scotland or Argentina in a RWC final would have been incredible even if they probably would have just been cannon fodder for the All Blacks.

I've put this story on other KZread channels before, but I was in NZ when the film Invictus came out (the film about the '95 world cup). I heard a lot of folk commenting about the 'poisonings' and their feelings were still running hot even after 15-odd years (bear in mind this was before the '11 world cup, so they'd not won it since '87).

I have watched every world cup, even the initial two prior to SA's inclusion - it has happened so MANY times that the All Blacks, who are favoured everytime, succumbed to, for some or other reason to an "inferior" opponent, due to unforseen problems. France, England, Australia and SA being the one's, handing out the surprises when least expected. I call it BMT. In most cases they showcase bmt, but they are caught unaware too often - otherwise they would have had 9 titles, according to most. However, rugby is played by 15 men a side over 80 minutes. What happens there in those moments detirmine the winner - that is what goes into the record books! As for the "poison" theory in 1995, it is BS! This is the MOST important game of of all! If you had a coach or management you should do something about it BEFORE the fact, like Rassie did with refereeing decisions that influenced the first test against the Lions, and how it was run afterwards..... If they were "poisoned" and did nothing they MUST have been real arrogant to believe they could win while in "excruitiang pain, vomitting and retching" etc, etc. Their playing without saying a word puts everything back on THEM - what stupidity if true. I was at Ellispark that day and so no All Black, the balance of team on the pavilion or members of the reserve bench running to and from the change rooms, or running around with buckets. As for Suzie, I wonder who's andvances were turned down? There was not even a player vomiting after all that exertion. The rest remains hearsy and speculation, as no one has come with proof. Getting back to the '95 final: That was the most intense wor d cup haka ever, including the one with England involved in 2019. They were in each others faces - first blow to the Boks. Tried to run with Lomu, who was stopped in his tracks everytime - Joost, Rueben, Francois, Os, Japie, Chester and others saw to that - blows 2 to 10 for the Boks. Fitzpatrick could not put his spin job on Mr Morrison for some dubious decions - blows 11 to 20 for the Boks - no subtract 1 - Rueben Kruger's try( almost forgot that one!) The Boks set piece was better, their mauling and line outs spot on, their tactics and defence great and Stransky's kicking better than Mehrtens. At that stage everybody thought Lomu was going to win them the world cup but SA was wise to them - their plan B was thinking up lame excuses after the game. Pleas note that LOMU NEVER scored a try against South Africa. Go and watch the full game - see those "sick" boys put up a hell of a fight

NZ in the 91, 03, 19 world cups were not favorites. You can also add this WC they aren't favourites either. 99 was the big choke, a lot of blame can go to John Hart who played his backline out of position, cullen 13, wilson at full back and umaga on the wing. 95' you can clearly see multiple times during the game that all blacks were throwing up on the sidelines, eventually into buckets. If it was premeditated food poisoning or a case of a random stomach bug, who knows. 07 a 2 foot forward pass from Michelak that ref barnes did not see, and no TMO, which led to the winning points. In all fairness that game should have never been that close in the first place, after that loss Graham Henry scrapped his 2 different squad rotations in the pool stages, said there was not enough continuity and rhythm with constantly changing his line ups.

Add the fact that no one from the all blacks ever saw "Suzie" - the name was apparently given to them by a private investigator - or that no "Suzie" has ever been conneccted to the hotel they stayed in, no investigation or testing of players or anything that could have poisoned them . Yeah, "Suzie" is the dumbest excuse ever.

well 16 of the 21 ABs had food poisoning on match day, the only ones that didnt skipped the meal and ate out. There are people that say bookies set this up, intentional or not, the ABs were food poisoned, again watch the match again to see for yourself.@@mallencolly
