If you were proud of Queen Elizabeth II then why not show her son the same respect? He is carrying on her mission when she passed the torch to him as her first born. The late Queen accepted Charles' divorce, the reasons for it, and grew to work with Camilla side by side on many occasions. All three value duty to the UK public. It seems to be your own bias holding you back.

That’s not a very nice thing to say. King Charles, I believe will surprise everyone. I’m hoping I will be around to see William crowned king one day. If you are disappointed because of Henry and his wife, I can understand, but don’t go for the entire family, you can tell who the weasels are and I believe they have gone back to America with their tails between their legs.

Meghan wasn’t about to ever walk a step behind Harry. It’s a good thing he gave into her and left his family. 😡

Not sure what isn't clear. It has been widely publicized for many years that the nation would have a 10-day period of mourning when the Queen passed away. There were a handful of events over the past ten days leading up to the funeral yesterday, but even this event at St. George's Chapel in Windsor is different in purpose from the funeral in Westminster Abbey earlier in the day. This last service before her burial was basically the "unvesting" her of her commitments as Head of the Church of England. They took the crown, scepter and orb away from her coffin and placed it back in the chapel. I found it fascinating to watch this long tradition of kings and queens in Britain live on in 2022. If it was so boring and beleaguering for you, there were plenty of news highlight reels to watch - or not watch.

Meghan and Harry purposefully stood to the side to await their car. Meghan went on national TV and lied about being married by the Archbishop of Canterbury three days before their actual marriage. The Archbishop was so embarrassed by this implication, which is also an illegal claim!, that he had to issue a statement. This is incredibly rare for him to do and signals that he saw the confusion/ exaggeration as quite serious. He said something about Meghan being American and not understanding... a polite undercut back. I am pretty sure Meghan and Harry do not want to shake hands with the Archbishop of Canterbury or even face any of the clergy ever again for that matter.

These people have lives, homes, mortgages, etc. Their work for the Palace and the costumes they wear as pages, aides, or secretaries, are all part of assisting in the events of royal life. To be fair Harry served 10 years so if anyone deserves anything it ironically would be Harry. William worked as an ambulance pilot for some time as well. Their dad… has done nothing to receive all those medals.

@@hartbigsjauregui3840 Harry keeps his medals. He was wearing them during the recent funeral of the queen. He only doesn't wear ceremonial military dress. The medals he wears are his to keep, the larger uniform is connected to the body of the royal military unit that serves the Crown. Harry no longer serves the Crown. So, no uniform and earned medals only. He isn't being stripped of anything, he keeps what he earned just doesn't currently represent them in shared uniform. His brother and father have honorary roles and work for/ represent the Crown. I hope that's clear.

Several of Harry's military colleagues support the decision that Harry not wear their uniform while carrying out national duty. The militaries in Britain serve the crown. Royal family members who served and also currently serve the crown have this right to wear the uniform. Harry does not fulfill both categories, therefore it isn't his current right to be dressed any differently than a private citizen when attending his family's events. No one is denying his military service which is his part of his past, and no one is stopping him from wearing a military uniform on his own special occasions as he wishes, just not during public royal events.

You do know his first ‘ tour’ lasted just 9 days. All through his second one he was guarded by a squad of SAS/ Gurkas.Placing their life’s on the line to protect him. When-he was flying( NOT as a pilot he never passed the test) he had. helicopters flying underneath and in front of him for protection.He was the safest person there. When you leave the service you are not allowed to wear uniform unless on duty.Everything was explained to him before they walked away to become billionaires and Internet personalities.
