He put up 19ppg 5.6reb 4.2ast 2stl 1.8TO on 55.1/45.1/89.4 splits the past 25 games and has outplayed Paolo since December his efficiency and defense are way better his effective field goal percentage is 10.4% higher on the season than Paolo that’s crazy. He’s also shooting 42.1% from 3 since January 10th and has 76 dunks on the season Paolo has 52. He’s elite getting to the rim and finishing and 6’6 215lbs 7’2 wingspan and rare speed, athleticism and strength combo and can shoot, pass and defend that’s a complete player and his archetype usually has the highest ceiling. Paolo can’t shoot or defend well enough to be a top 10 player on top of not having any freakish physical traits just big and good athlete nothing crazy to separate him

@@bkelly625 He's a rookie. So of course he is not perfect. Since when does athleticism guarantee a player being a star? Paolo is a nature score who can playmake. He has the size and strength to play in the post. His potential is crazy when considering how comfortable he is at scoring. I don't see J Dub getting much better.

Dunkley just won the slam dunk contest at the BioSteel canadian all star weekend, which is Canadas version of the McDonalds all american festivities. And what a name eh Dunkley Distant! Why would they offer Sharpe who is clearly proven to be a young budding star with tremendous upside and this years top 5 draft plus fillers? Thats more than they were willing to part with last year. Even if the Blazers don't get Victor, they still get a lottery pick and can trade Simons and Nurkic possibly for Embiid or someone like Bam and 1st round pick. They have a lot of good options especially for the short term remainder of the Dame era. The frustrating part is the front office that keeps making bad calls. He doesn’t have a true 49 inch vert. Because of the way trainers and the NBA like to measure standing reach. They allow players to pack their shoulder (not stretch to reach as high as they can) when measuring their standing reach, basically bringing their standing reach down 3-4 inches. This inflates vertical numbers when testing on a vertec. Because of this, we can assume his true standing reach is in the ballpark of around 8’10”-9’0” and not 8’8.75”. Which would bring his vert down to around 45-46 ish at the most. Given the numerous videos of him doing height checks, this would actually seem about right. If he were to have a 49 inch vert he would literally be getting his whole head above the rim. Now that 45-46 measurement is still insane, especially for someone his height, but 49 is an almost unheard of number outside the sport of track and field or pro dunking.
