Great Ronnie feature. Ronnie also played in Open E a lot, not just for slide. He got into Open E after hearing Duane Allman on Aretha Franklin's version of "The Weight". Perfect guitar choice, since he has a 54 Strat that he's used throughout his career, when not using Zemaitis guitars.

You got to me pre pizza today, rare! And what a mitzvah? Just procrastinating on KZread, but I'm about to go in and work on a song in F major, a key I'm not often in, so my eyes/fingers get a little confused (especially because I've spent like 6 months almost exclusively in C# minor... don't ask me why). But here is a nice little diagonal pentatonic scale, as I'm not much of a pentatonic player, but I've been getting a little more pentatonic with this song, but I've been sorta trapped in a box, so this diagonal pentatonic will really help the work I'm about to do. So, big thanks, homey. And to everyone else, this video deserves a couple watches, a lot of little pearls in this one!

As a wierd sidenote apparently there was talk of Steve Marriott joining the Stones instead of Mick Taylor. He was another pretty basic guitarist, but good enough to inpire 'Whole lotta love'.
