Sarah definitely made the right choice in choosing starfish over Tidal Twister.

SeaWorld San Diego is my home park. I’m so glad that it’s getting more love recently as it grows and develops. Can’t wait for arctic rescue next year!

This has been kind of a second home park for me and I’m glad you guys liked it! I personally think Manta is criminally underrated so I’m glad you guys enjoyed it!

I had a season pass earlier this year, and I loved every minute in the park. They don't have a large coaster collection, but it's great for what it is. Back row on Manta on the last train of the night is AMAZING.

I was like NOOOO when you got soaked right at the end of Atlantis. My wife and I were there earlier this year and thought we had successfully finished the ride without hardly getting wet--and then the boat decided to practically go submarine mode after we had slowed down and thought we were safe following the second drop. 😂

@Sarah the brake before the second launch on Manta is the mcbr to safely allow 3 train operations without stacking but funny thing is manta requires cool down on lsm’s so 3 trains will stack no matter how fast guests board.

I’d rate this vlog as a “sea+”.

I think SeaWorld just has random ride merch at different parks because there’s merch for Busch Gardens Williamsburg at Busch Gardens Tampa 😂

Emperor is definitely a fun coaster, it just hurts my eyes (literally, when it's sunny out) every time I see it with its nonexistent theming and nonexistent roof lol

Did they gut the animal exhibits from Wild Arctic? They were there in July! I suppose they might have been closed for Howl O' Scream. Emperor is probably the best dive in the US (though I haven't done SFFT's yet), it's just needs a station roof. I agree with Tyler, SWSD is my favorite SeaWorld. I love the location on the bay, the sky ride over the water, the touch pools all over the entrance, and it feels more laid back vs. Orlando (granted, that's probably true of all the CA parks vs. the ones in FL). California Manta is a very good and underrated family coaster. People skip it because it's a bit of a drive from the other SoCal parks, but I've always really enjoyed the park!

on journey before the first drop you see they turn off the waterfall before the boat goes down literally saying " don't worry we will turn off the water effects so you don't get wet even though you will get absolutely soaked in a minute"

I went for my first time in September 7th and I thought this would be a light park. I was so wrong. It's my 4th out of 5 of the SeaWorld/Busch Gardens parks above San Antonio but I had no complaints other than the Electric Eel being closed (but I rode clones already).

I’ve only ridden Tempesto and the comfort collars didn’t really interfere to much with my enjoyment they definitely aren’t too comfortable though

i played tag on the sesame street playground for hours every time i would visit😂

that dolphin sound was crazy.

It´s really a shame Emperor didn´t receive more theming especially because it really is one of the more interesting Dive Layouts. Also hey Sarah, your commentary style is really cool; nothing at all against Taylor, but hey why don´t you take over the VLogs more often? :D

I assume that comfort collar doesn't refer to physical comfort, but psychological comfort (IE, you're not freaking out because you feel like you're going to fall out).

i got on journey to atlantis in 2012 it had an more tanish brown color to the towers and the boats had two different colors for some of the boats some had a dark blue and light blue on some boats and this ride had more voicelines of the ride such as u go near the top of the lift hill there was a voice line there and other spots of the ride i miss the old version of jta

Went Halloween weekend. Enjoyed it, but, I wish we had just done a second day at Knotts or Magic Mountain, instead. The ride collection is decent as is the food. BUT SeaWorld needs to monitor the lines for cutters. Nearly got into a fight with someone in the Manta line because he had 4 of his family members catch up with him. At least 25 people cut in front of us in a half hour. Worst park I've experienced this at.

I’ve never been to a seaworld park other than bgt so I reallly gotta get out here!

@@wolfieecoasters oh man! You need to get there!😂....BGT and SWO are two of my personal favorite parks out there. Just the atmosphere, quality feel, laid back parks, and of course top notch coasters. The marine life exhibits are really something else at Sea World. Videos don't do justice, need to experience it for yourself.

Emperor looks like one of the more forceful B&M Dive Coasters I would love more here in America to have no midcourse

Having just ridden it yesterday, it is. I was graying out through the whole immelman and in the valley between the zero-g winder and corkscrew.

Not sure why but the Electric Eel train specifically crushes my thighs, whereas the two other rides with Premier trains and comfort collars (West Coast Racers, Big Apple Coaster) don't do the same

I heard it was the worst ride ever made, but since it's removal, BOOM, 4 new coaster's have opened at SeaWorld San Diego, if you'd count Tidal Twister as a coaster, personally, it's a glorified thrill ride.

Cant believe there is 0 station for the dive coaster... that is such a massive disappointment, it basically looks like they gave up right at the finish line.

just pay for one locker for 4 hours and leave your stuff there, thats what I did.

There are no comfort collars on Superman at Discovery Kingdom! You don’t need them!! West Coast Racers would be much better w/o them!

Sadly, Manta is super lame compared to Orlando’s…I’ve lived here in San Diego for thirty years but we ALWAYS were the Last Sea World park to ever get ANYTHING! And we always got LAME versions of every ride! Our Journey to Atlantis is lamer than Orlando’s as is Manta…October is pretty dead, so, yeah, good choice for a time to show up for small lines

You do realize that San Diego is very strict on height restrictions, so calling Sea World San Diego's Manta lame is a bit harsh, when it comes to coasters, be thankful that you got Emperor. If you want a good ol B&M flyer, there's always Tatsu at Magic Mountain.

As a tiny, skinny, 11 year old enthusiast, THE COMFORT COLLARS ARE QUITE NECESSARY FOR ME..
