Dear Coaster Studios, Your video sheds light on the nostalgic aspect of the old amusement park, but it overlooks the financial constraints that government-run programs like Playland park, and other organizations that often take their groups to this park like the Fresh Air Fund or PAL program often face. These programs play a crucial role in providing local communities, like Westchester County, with accessible and meaningful experiences, especially for those who may not have the means to travel long distances for entertainment. I remember growing up in Westchester and how much the PAL program meant to many kids in our neighborhood. It wasn't just about outings; it was about fostering a sense of belonging and providing opportunities that we otherwise wouldn't have had. These programs and a place like Rye Playlandnare lifelines for many, and acknowledging their importance is crucial in discussions about local entertainment options.
People have spent years speculating about what goes in that old Goliath plot (or maybe Goliath + Flashback) at Six Flags New England. I'm not sure I have anything to add except that if that Super Boomerang at Great Adventure works out, it might actually make sense to replace those Boomerangs with a Boomerang. Also, Canobie Lake Park needs a Mine Train-level family coaster. But I don't know where it would go. The Corkscrew plot is almost certainly going to be waterpark expansion, whenever they get around to building something on it (and honestly that's more sorely needed than a coaster). The Tall Timber Splash plot is too small unless they cut into the parking lot, which might happen. They could put something behind Untamed but it might be a noise problem with the neighbors. The best option might be to go the Gröna Lund way and build it over or under something.

I live in Momtreal and Laronde is a SHAME! I prefer do a 6hours ride to the USA than go to Laronde as somebody who love Rollercoster it’s sad

I grew up in Utah, but lived in Ohio for 6 years and then came back to Utah. I didn’t love Lagoon before I moved, but of course went to Cedar Point while in Ohio, and I can’t even try to go back to Lagoon. It’s sooo grating to know people that have only ever been there and sing its praises. It’s even more irritating knowing that many of the Cedar Point coaster were manufactured….in Utah. 🤦♀️

Just rode this masterpiece of a coaster again 7 times yesterday and still can't get over how thoroughly this ride destroys me (in the best way possible). Definitely the last option in how people view this ride: the insane coaster enthusiast who laps this over and over again

I experienced this for the first time yesterday because it also happened to be my first trip IOA. All of my research and attention was given to Velocicoaster. So I knew almost nothing about this coaster. So, as you can imagine, I screamed like a little girl when I felt the drop track! 😅
Remember that this park only operates from May to October. More difficult to generate profits, for sure.
Can't wait to ride this later this summer. It's on our next trip itinerary up the East coast.

THIS ride is like the tatsu of japan. Tatsu and flying dinosaur are like the king and queen of flying coasters while manta is like their son.

when i was in energylandia there were two guys working in formula coaster and when it was going into the tunnel they were hitting high fives with the people about to get launched definitely made the day better
i don't go on these rides, i watch people go on these rides. I did cu cuhlainn in Tayto park ireland and nearly died
this coaster really is a hidden gem and often flies under the radar when comparing to other RMCs
