Was thinking how cool it would be riding it at night!! I figured especially in Las Vegas they would have it equipped with an amazing light display. Looked like a lot of fun to ride, but ultimately kinda blah to look at.

This should receive a medal for being the most painful ride that shouldn't be painful.

@@ahhwe-any7434 Yeah. I can still remember 15 years later how brutal the barrel roll - half loop combination felt. It was perfectly fine for me, but my 45-year old dad (in peak condition) didn't like the roughness. That being said, it's an awesome experience. You have no idea what the coaster will be like until you're half way up the lifthill because you can't really see it from the ground, and the combination of elements is quite entertaining - you don't really see most of them until 2 seconds before they hit you (giving you just the right amount of anticipation). I also had a black guy in front of me exclaiming "Oh my fuck" several times whilst going up the lifthll, made it even more fun! :D

I rode this! The best way to make this ride as painless as possible is to really tighten the locks so you don't jiggle around as much. Also hold your hands near your face on the locks bear your head so your face doesn't directly hit on them.

WOW this thing sounds like Anaconda at Kings Dominion...lol. If you ride that thing with your head against the head rest, you'll walk off the ride with bruises all over your face.

@@danzig159 I rode this one years ago. It's very jarring, not smooth at all especially for a steel coaster of this type. I have definitely ridden coasters that hurt a lot more than others and this one is up there on the pain scale.

thx1085 Hershey Park had some coasters like that and a cheap way is to change the bars into padded ones by your head instead of lying to change the coaster and build it better. This looks extremely rough either way but without the pain it’s just a wild ride. But it’s a hotel what do they care people ride bc it’s a coaster in Vegas. I wanted to ride it but I was only landing in Vegas not visiting and I’m glad I watched this video because I have tons of ear piercings it would have been a nightmare.

I've gone on this ride and I just thought of looking at this video. And it just made me remember all of it....

Luise this ride has repeatedly been chosen as one of the 10 worst roller coasters in the world for years now. The manufacturer of this ride is so bad, this is their only coaster in the U.S. that hasn’t yet been discontinued and torn down. If you thought this was great, just imagine how you’re gonna feel when you ride an actual quality coaster.

Rode this once, never again. This ride will hurt you, and I rode it in my 20's.

My son and I went on this ride. I figured since the first ride is $14, and an unlimited day pass is $25, I'd go on it twice to get my money's worth. What they don't tell you up front though is that a second ride would only cost you $7. There's a sign that says so as you exit the ride. Therefore, I had to go on THREE times to get my money's worth. BUMPY AS HELL!! I couldn't take any more than three times. Must be a young person's thing though, because my son LOVED it. I gave up after my three rides. He lost track of how many times he went on it.

Oh I remember this. Was there when I was like 10 and it was one hell of a ride. The slow start definitely was terrifying.

I rode this ride twice in my life. Second time I hit my head so hard I almost passed out. This ride is pure pain but also worth it lol

I’d always make sure to ride this every time I visited Las Vegas. It looks even cooler at night, though I can’t see a whole lot since I have to take my glasses off before a ride like this.

Went to Vegas this week & admired the New York scenes but didn't ride the roller coaster. Watching this video is a thrill enough for me. Thank you for sharing.

I've rode this more times than any other coaster. I was visiting Vegas with my family when I was 10 years old and I was so psyched when I got to ride this. The ride seemed awesome as a kid so I bought the all day pass and rode it atleast a dozen times in a row. It definitely ended up giving me a headache lol. Some of those first drops are super fun! The rest is rough RIP

The first drop caught me off guard.

I rode this a few years ago and expected to be in pain because of all the reviews, but I didn’t think it was rougher than any other roller coaster. It was fun.

This ride scared the hell out of me.. I wish I still had the picture of my face that they took 😂

Just went on this ride! It’s one of the best rides I’ve ever been on and not scary at all

Rode this last night at night and it was the most fun I've had on a coaster in a long time, highly recommentd

ONE OF THE BEST COASTERS EVER BUILT.

This is, still, the only roller coaster I've been on. My mate, who had experienced many coasters and tricked me into getting on it with her, admitted afterward, "That was pretty rough for a first time." And I didn't even get bruised. I have to say, I did enjoy myself, though. 😬

Have been on a lot of coasters,rode this one three times in a row and it really does kind of beat you up a bit.If you can relax you are better off being loose rather than tense up..

I love this hotel and coaster

I rode it twice with my dad who was 65 at the time... excellent coaster!

Well I thought that this would be fine, but now I think I'd be in tears after those drops and loops... (not a huge roller coaster person)

Its awesome (well if you live nowhere near any theme parks)

I rode this on my honeymoon. It was really fun!

had a huge fear of roller coasters, couldn’t take splash mountain. I went on this and it was AMAZING, I loved the loop and the perfect amount of speed for me. I literally feel like I can ride anything now. My fear of splash mountain has gone away and now i am gonna try many more coasters. Would recommend!

This ride was so painful. I’m usually fine with painful coasters but this one really banged me up.

I went on this 7 times in one day with my friends. It was so fun!!! :D

Roller coasters are literally millions of times safer than driving a car. If you feel more fear on a roller coaster than in a car, then that is completely irrational.

Got the all day pass today, It was so fun and I think I went on it about 10 times and I couldn’t get enough of it! Great ride but after a while my shoulders started to hurt. Buying the all day pass was definitely worth it!!

One if the roughest coasters I have ever ridden and I grew up riding the colossus fire dragon and the wooden coaster at Lagoon Salt Lake city both much older than this coaster but still not as jerky.

Now thats a roller coaster!

Went in this 10 years ago at night. It was worth the money, once. I guess I'm an old man now.

Good roller coaster but my favorite roller coaster is millennium force at cedar point also the dragster go on those

I remember I rode this one on the second day (not even close to 24 hrs.) I arrived in Vegas. And I felt like HELL due to a lack of sleep and being disoriented and what-not but after I rode the thing...the entire trip picked up from there! I started to loosen up, gamble...the adrenaline musta kicked in or something. Anyway, that's my story.

I live here and never rode it til my stepdaughter came to town just two weeks ago. (She loves sitting in front, lol.) Wasn't any more bumpy than any other coaster I've ridden. Don't know what the complaints are about..
