The Roaring Mountains - Go Wild

Ғылым және технология

Nowhere in the Alpine mountains are water, forest and rocks as precipitous, rock faces as vertical as in the Gesäuse National Park, Europe’s largest canyon. “Gesäuse” is a name derived from the rushing noise of the water, the soughing wind that echoes up to the peaks of the north faces of this unique region - home to the myth of the mountain. When the sun rises and ushers in a magnificent day, the Gesäuse projects a perfect image of a mountain. However, in bad weather, the Gesäuse’s walls reflect a scary phenomenon as the speed of the inflowing airmass multiplies. Adverse weather conditions can thus convert the Gesäuse into inferno. Michael Schlamberger, Austria’s most renowned nature filmmaker internationally, listened to the rushing whitewater of the river Enns and conquered the sheer rock walls, chasing eagles and chamois in passing.

    Such wondrous beauty. I'm so thankful for this series and the uploads. Each installment has brought tears to my eyes. I bless the endeavors of the researcher, may he find beauty and fulfill his passions seeking out those untrodden, unspoiled places of ancient forests. But I hope he maintains their secrecy. It is a comfort to know such places still are.

  • @gamebro511

    @gamebro511

    The Vatican did not also admit that JESUS was the lone way to salvation until the 90's, meaning for most of their history they weren't even really Christians. Many of their members were, but many of their officials were not and some of their official theological positions are still atrocious. So using the catholic church to dismiss all Christians is not a good strategy. There isn't many good inventions that the field of evolution has given to the world, in fact it is holding back science. Which is why it's only recently they open dino bones to find tissues in them now. If anyone doesn't believe me read the news for yourself- I remember seeing it on the television way back then, but kids these days probably don't know this even happened, it's hard to dig information on this online already! Isn't that crazy? Get out of the catholic church and trust in Jesus instead! They have lots of bad theology like priests not being allowed to marry cause they don't know how to read the bible correctly. articles.latimes.com/1999/nov/01/news/mn-28751

    Has the bug planted a flag? XD It's a white man thing from colonial times, when they suddenly and unilaterally decided that planting a flag, stake or simply arriving on any piece of land not owned by other white men made it theirs. Didn't happen before that in any native or local populations, even in Europe. Also triggered the development of racist ideologies to justify it all. So yeah, it's suspicious behavior at best.
