The RN-45!
In case you can't guess by the "RN" in the name, this is yet another Royal Nonesuch creation. I make fun of him a lot in this video, as usual, but this is actually a pretty decent gun. And one really interesting thing is that I saw something on high-speed video that I've never noticed before! That alone will make watching this video worthwhile for my fellow gun-building nerds. Enjoy! If you want to see this gun firing, check out the other video here: / @markserbusotherguncha...

RN is one of my amazing memories from times of free internet with no censorship. Really enjoyed all his videos, creations and ability to survive all that. Gotta find his new stuff. And honestly.. This dude looks better (and maybe even works better :) ) than many other actual professional designs. All the best!
I'm just glad to hear that RN is still active. His videos dropped off my feed yeas ago.

You can get at the guy for whatever but the fact that he built this and it works reliably is pretty darn impressive, especially given that it uses a lot of off the shelf parts, which is actually really cool.

It looks like something the Polish Home Army was building during the Second World War. Very cool.
How is it ugly and beautiful at the same time? I love it!
Well thats way better than banging two pipes together lol. Remember the "quad barrel defibrillator"!
Mark looks like a Mike Judge character, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Your videos are well worth being on a watch list!
You know, as a professional welder and LNG welding superintendent, it's great to see people having a go and doing just fine. What I really think is pathetic is someone (especially a self-taught welder) laughing at someone else's work. Someone having a go at an actual job, instead of stroking an ego.
The dwarf psyched out of my mind was spot on 😂
It works, and if he spent a bit of time, he could refine it. Nice build!
I didn’t realize so many creators were in Missouri. This state is so cool lol.
Never knew you had a KZread channel. Thanks for what you do 😎
Man I REALLY wish there was an affordable commercial version of the grease gun. Unfortunately it would have to be a semi auto 16" barrel. Although if there was a retro looking braced version it would be awesome. Basically I just want a grease gun without all the NFA BS...no biggie lol. I think he did alright on this build all things considered. I like it.
I wanted to see how the bolt and everything sits in the receiver ,love an explanation how it all fits together n works
Watching this video and reading through the comments and for some reason I realized that I am here because of Kentucky ballistics being a mechanic with a son about his age I have an attachment to them. I kinda hope that he and I can get along as well as Scott and his father, but like they say god closing a door opens a window sometimes, ehhh it’s all good 👍🏻 but funny how a horrible accident can turn into something good when it’s all said and done but it was great seeing the gun tube community for the most part come together and be the kind of people that make this country better than the rest of world alright enough with the sissy feelings and what not get back to work fellas 👍🏻👍🏻
It's a work of art. I love it.
Great video Mark and Richard
Well done Richard, homemade and works.
Love the very simplistic and basic design
Ya, I'm watching to many gun channels. My first thought was "really light recoil spring" Thanks Mark
That actually looks really neat. I'd be proud to have made that in my garage.
"Even a blind squirrel can find a nut now and then." Made me laugh, then I thought I you seeing my welding and laughed again..... I haven't used a welder this century.
Ah yes, the Registered Nurse-45. I think every ambulance & ER should have one.
Well done Royal! Wish I had one😊
For a young feller, Richard sure was inventive. I enjoyed his videos.
Love the AK parts! Those East German stocks are pure genius all by themselves. The use of Glock mags is also cool.
Its better than those pipe shotguns he used to make.
As a new gunsmith/ designer trying to learn I love channels like this no matter how simple they are its a learning experience and mark always drops Gems you can learn from

It's beautiful! An idea from me: Replace that barrel locking nut with one that doubles as a large kinda-almost-integral suppressor that goes over and past the barrel.
Luty would be proud 👍 keep up the good work boys.
A ribbing only a friend who’s helping you out of a jam give lol I love it
I really like the way it looks. I'm very fond of the Swedish K, M3 Grease gun, etc. Anything of that era.
It's been a long time since Richard appeared in one of your videos.
I like the way it looks. It reminds me of a Luty mated with a grease gun. I miss seeing his wacky antics.
Its functionality is yet to be determined, but its appearance is more appealing than many other firearms professionally milled! 😂

Honestly his best build so far. Come on man, remember your first welds. I know you love him really and you're just joshing him like the head chef and his commis 😅
Love it that you have mentioned COVID and now I'm seeing a COVID link. There must be a set angle of magazine, bullet stack to feed ramp ratio out there..... Surely. Mind you those 45's looked sitting proud
I like seeing Royal Nonesuch content
love it!!!!!!
It looks like a modern Sten. It isn't high art but these things are not meant to be finished as European shotguns. The only confusion is someone with these resources had the right legal paperwork to show this off on the internet? I am very impressed.
Grinder & paint, make you the welder you aint.🤣😂 Good one!
I like it!
I'm in love!! Thats just my speed!!
Royal Nonesuch is a legend
Better than I can do. Looks pretty cool to me.
What a madman
I like how the bolt doesn't slam the receiver on the rearward travel. Very nice. Looks very smooth. I dare say the ejector is too far forward in the ejection port, making the short case flip too much before it gets close to the deflector or the ejection port. Any adjustability fore and aft to play with that?
Hand made?! Not in my wheelhouse, but cool. (You must be very, very good friends with Richard! 😂
Jokes aside, RN has accomplished more gun design than almost everybody that has ever lived at the same age
whats the process of submitting a serial number do they come back and say its been used or can ur serial be like 003 on different models or calibers

Man I want one. That is one cool little gun lol.
Mating a “Swiss person and a space Alien” I love it !
I am 100% in agreement with this video even though I just started watching it because it has a Covid link posted via KZread
🤘 😁 🤘 Get'r done Richard!
Not sure why Royal Nonesuch didn't just use the Grease gun or Ppsh-41 style drop sear given that this is an open-bolt "fast semi-auto" design. This might require a longer receiver though, maybe he didn't want that tradeoff. Or just wanted to use that spare AKM FCG. I personally love those WW2 FCGs, not just because of simplicity but because of how thin and short their height is compared to most hammer-fired FCGs. Great video, Mark. Big thanks for the high speed footage especially. You're a big inspiration.
Richard is a better fabricator than I am. That piece looks fun.
That stock goes with it well visually.
I love this relationship so much.
I love this gun
