The more i hear it the more i love this op, i find it better than the 1st, maybe in song terms, it comes to pure bias, but in composition, art, frames, animation, etc its really well done, it shows pretty much that the studio and the animators put a lot of love in it, to even put the extra mile of syncing the end of the song with naofumi, and how when it pick ups the visuals go from a dark tone coloring to a bright one plus the expressivity of each char in this one

I love this opening, is so beautiful 💖😎

I like to think the rain symbolizes struggle and suffering. While the other 3 heroes have seen so little they can shrug it off like a light rain, Naofumi has already had his fair share of it, so much that it threatens to drown him in it. Also, it's so classic of Myne to sit at the back behind hordes of other people doing her dirty work. I don't want to point out the other references, because then the non-manga readers would be spoiled.

@@poseidon251 Cal Mira is the very beginning of the second arc of the overall story. It would be weird if they didn't plan a second season while still showing it since it will kick off a lot of the stuff involving-well you know.

I still prefer the 1st op... but this isn't bad either! It's pretty cool if I say so myself.

The opening on the first cour is what made me watch this and now it's one of my favourite animes

Finally got a glimpse of Fitoria and Rishia s2 Hope this means that we will maybe get a second season with Kyo story-line

I love the part where Raphtalia jumps on those large rocks and then goes ahead of Nafumi ready to attack.

That OP was really good and if the images shown are what we have to look forward to, then I finally have a good idea of where the season might end which is pretty cool.

Just play the audio from the first op and the animation from the 2nd, they almost perfectly match

Imagine the 3rd and 4th openings. We are down to ride the feels train in the next two seasons!

I am so pleasantly surprised that not only is the first intro is incredible but the second one is too. That kind of consistency is a good sign

This is honestly the greatest animated opening I’ve seen in all of anime. From start to finish this was amazing to watch. I personally don’t like girls like Raphtalia but this opening had some very nice scenes of her. The look in her eyes at the start is awesome. I like the part where she swings her sword right over Naofumi. The part where she’s running along with FILO looks fluid as hell. And not to mention the gorgeous shield moment at the end

I can't wait for the next few arcs! I read the manga after watching the anime and holy crap!
