Glad to see that the feedback from season 2 gave them a reason to go 110% on this opening

As a big Shield Hero fan, I am freaking IN LOVE with this opening. Music, animation, art direction, editing. It's all so freaking good. It's like they mixed Jujustu Kaisen's 2nd OP with Ranking of Kings 2nd OP with the ever good MADKID music and blended it all up into a masterpiece.

I loved the cinematography and the op scenes are very good, it seems that things are coming for the anime, let's hope it turns out very well.

I love the energy behind the music, really gives it volume, and I like how the Shield hero's reputation is gaining more popularity and more loyal friends. But for crying out loud! Just how stupid are the 3 other heroes?! That bratty princess has been proven to be a pathological liar and they still far for her tricks!

It's a return to form from season 1 for sure. If skipping s2 entirely meant getting this instead it would have been worth it to have only 2 seasons.

Same. Lots of great moments in this opening. Filo and Raph pillow fighting, Filo swinging the mace, and even the glimpse of Melty powering up a spell. Lots to love in this OP.

Kinda satisfying. I think its the great thing that season 2 came out, cuz it absolutelly dropped my expectations, but still was bearable enough to watch it all. Now i am so hyped..

@@xatab901 The fact that he did 2 openings for JJK is already a miracle, mainly brought about by Gege being a fanboy of his. Yamashita hasn't really done much on shonen series outside of Naruto and he doesn't seem to like being stuck on one series either. Understandable for a creative like him.

I freaking love this show. I can admit that season 2 wasn’t peak, but I was still on board. I doubt anything could’ve followed that phenomenal first season honestly. I have always loved the drowning metaphor they use with Naofumi. In this opening they utilize that to frame his progression in that when he’s descending down into the water he falls but Raphtalia and Atla catch him almost instantly. I got chills.

The season 3 remind me the hype I had when the first season was release. Clearly a great improvement from season 2

Always good finally getting 2 of my favourite shield hero characters animated, Sadeena and Atla.
