In Luke 21:22, Jesus spoke of the impending judgment of Jerusalem in AD 70.He said “These be the days of vengeance in which all things written must be fulfilled.” Did he really mean that in that judgment all prophecy would be fulfilled? If he did, (and he DID!) futurism is dead! There are many today who believe we are in the last days of planet earth because they see all of the middle-east turmoil, technological advancements, "new world order," etc. They claim that these are fulfillments of biblical prophecy that prove that we are in the last days. Let's examine what the Bible says about the "last days" and see if we can come to an understanding of their meaning. I think that most everyone would agree that the last days had begun by the time Christ came into the world: God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. Hebrews 1:1-2 The writer of Hebrews says that they (first century Christians) were in the last days. Most Christians would agree that the last days began around the time of Christ! In the book of Acts we find a profound statement made by Peter (a Jew) to a multitude of Jews out of every nation: But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, raised his voice and declared to them: "Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you and give heed to my words. "For these men are not drunk, as you suppose, for it is only the third hour of the day; but this is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel: 'AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,' God says, 'THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS; EVEN ON MY BONDSLAVES, BOTH MEN AND WOMEN, I WILL IN THOSE DAYS POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT And they shall prophesy. Acts 2:14-18 Let me ask you a couple of questions here, "Who is Peter talking to?" The answer is: men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem. When did Peter say this?" He said this in the first century. Peter explicitly says, "This is what was spoken of through the prophet Joel." He then explains that what this multitude of Jews was experiencing was the fulfillment of the prophecy in Joel. Peter is telling this multitude that they (first century Jews) were in the last days. As we saw earlier, the writer of Hebrews expressed this identical sentiment as he began his discourse comparing the fading Old Covenant with the Everlasting New Covenant: God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. Hebrews 1:1-2 Yeshua was speaking in the last days. What last days? The last days of the Old Covenant Age: Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now once at the consummation of the ages He has been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. Hebrews 9:26 When was it that Yeshua appeared? He was born, not at the beginning, but at the end of the ages. To suppose that he meant that Yeshua's incarnation came near the end of the world, would be to make his statement false. The world has already lasted longer since the incarnation than the whole duration of the Mosaic economy, from the exodus to the destruction of the temple. Yeshua was manifest at the end of the Jewish age. Peter says the same thing: For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you 1 Peter 1:20 Yeshua came during the last days of the age that was the Old Covenant Age, the Jewish age. That age came to an end with the destruction of the temple in AD 70. Certainly the writers of the New Testament were very aware of those passages we have studied involving the "last days" of Judah and Jerusalem. Therefore, it is safe and logical to say that the New Testament writers believed that they were in the "last days" of the Jewish age. Paul believed they were living in the end of the Jewish Age: Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 1 Corinthians 10:11 Paul said that the end of the ages was coming upon them (first century saints). James taught the same thing: Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire. It is in the last days that you have stored up your treasure! James 5:1-3 Clearly James taught that these men were in the "last days." John taught this also: Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18 John believed they were in the last hour of the Jewish age. There are many other passages that could be used to support the fact that the first-century believers, and particularly the apostles, believed that they were in the end of the Jewish age or the "last days" of the Jewish age. Contrary to popular opinion, we are not living in what the Bible calls the "last days". We are certainty living in the last days of something, Christmas shopping days, days of 2023,days of the Biden administration, but NOT the biblical last days--those referred to the last days of Old Covenant Israel. We are now living in the New Covenant age. The New Covenant age is "the eternal covenant." Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Yeshua our Lord, Hebrews 13:20 An eternal covenant has no "last days." We are living in the first days of the eternal age. Missing these important time statements causes people to misapply, by nearly 2000 years, many verses in the Bible.

I told Jesus I'm ready to go home now and got a diagnosis of cancer. I'm not afraid one bit though. He can still come tomorrow as the apostles always expected Christ with a doctrine of imminency. The doctrine of immanency says He can come right now or He can come in 2,000 years but we always expect Him. I've been reading what the Essenes wrote and about their calendar... they used the same calendar given to Adam and used by Abraham and Moses. Not the corrupted calendar corrupted by the Pharisees. The Essenes are not to be confused with the Egyptian Essenes. These were considered rebels by the pharisees. They were Temple priests from the lineage of Zadok. The priesthood of Zadok will be the only priests directly serving Jesus in the millennial Temple. There will be Levitical priests but they will serve the public who come to see Jesus. These Essenes predicted the date Messiah son of Joseph and suffering servant who would die on a cursed tree not for Himself but for all of us. They clearly used the cypher in Daniel as given by Gabriel the angel of God. They expected Him and wrote about Him. They have been hitting 100% on prophecy. They are predicting an event starting in the fall in our year of 2025. They claim this is the final age of man. I can see evidence of the antichrist pushing his bloody agenda upon the world everywhere I look. Praise God He has the history of removing the righteous out of harms way before the judgement comes. The first 3.5 years is the wrath of the Lamb against those who refuse to believe the truth of God's WORD- the second half of the shemitah cycle (Daniel called it a shabuah- which is a full shemitah cycle) is God's wrath against all those nations who have been against Israel. IT IS A PRE-TRIB RAPTURE! So yes Jesus I am ready- repented up and still spreading the WORD of God until I can spread it any more. It's time for revival in every nation!

He changed the sacred bible names to those of demons, so converts would be automatically cursed, when they prayed, in the Vatican church.

Did you see so many of the signs that we're seeing today happening at ANY Time? Like the climate changes. Talks about wars and rumors of it. Fires. Floods, in so many places . Receiving Christ into your heart is not "all that matters." There is so much more. When you truly accept Christ into your heart, there WILL BE a transformation of mind, heart, soul that occurs within you. You will see the world through new eyes, and your thoughts and actions will naturally become more Christ-like. It's called a Spiritual Awakening, and it is a life-changing event. You agreed to allow Christ to transform you when you asked him into your heart. Others will notice you have changed because they will see you make atonement for and repent of your sins. No inner-transformation, no repentance, = No REAL acceptance of Christ into your heart.

@@tambralie9980 I couldn't agree more with you. Life with God as your Father will not be some shallow set of principles or rules which justify you. It was people outside the church who identified and labelled the believer as Christians, simply because they saw an observable change. No one seems to grasp that the road to destruction is very broad, way wider than most think, even in the Churches. God is not a hooraahhh type, but He sees the heart. The real way is much narrower and few there are...blessings to you.

Read 2 Thes 2:1-17 Lord’s return and our gathering together to Him will not happen until the man of sin reveals himself in the temple of God saying he is God. This is the abomination of desolation spoken of by Christ in Mat. 24 referring to the prophecy in Dan 12:32.

I'm a firm believer that God is not finished with Israel. But what I saw at the music festival was nothing short of the scene from the Ten Commandments minus Charlton Heston in Edward G Robinson. It was a pagan orgy and an abomination to the Lord. And sadly they found out that perhaps the Lord was angered at them. So if they plan on future festivals that dishonor our Lord I hope they Think of the terror they endured and change their minds and do not test the Holy One.

Um..I think they are still in a time of having God's heart turned against them for their continual disobedience & betrayal. He has hardened their ♡s & any to be saved before the tribulation must come into His Kingdom the same way as the Gentile. Many have..but most not. Not all will be saved & meet the Lord in the clouds-the rapture-as per 1 Thessalonians 4:12-18..In fact most will suffer loss..But after the 'Chitch age' it will be a time where God turns His attention back to them..they-the 144000 of Revelation-will go through the wrath of the tribulation which is poured out after the midway of the 7 years.

Very misleading

1 day equals 1000 years... So we are nearing the end .... I just really hope Jesus doesn't sleep in on his day of return. I so wanna meet him, walk with and just talk and enjoy the beauty.

I too pray for the Ukrainian people and the Russian people; none of them want this war. Zelensky is a comedian by trade and criminal business partner of the Biden Crime Family. Soros placed both Zelenskyy and Biden in their current position; he owns them! Putin is fighting to save his own people and nation. This will all be revealed soon for the world to see!
