Awesome documentary, Noah is incredible! What would Michael Johnson's record time be IF HE HAD SUPER SPIKES of today . . . 19 flat or faster? 18? No one knows, but super spikes are like super ball filled baseball bats. That is not just my opinion, but the opinion of the greatest runners of all time. How much will technology continue to change track, and should the regulations go back to pre super spike era? I think so. The game is now into the hands of technology giants, and they are working hard to create the best version of these shoes.

honestly his time would have improved but not by the margins you think the shoes dont give that much time back maybe .1 or 2 over all track spikes are mainly for grip not for extra speed

@@wxbrainiac While I appreciate and respect your opinion, many current olympians feel differently. Hurdler, Karstom (sp) is one who has spoken out against them, and Usain is another. If they only potentially made a .1 difference, why haven't many opted out of using them?

@@KTtraintowin1. track technology has ALWAYS gotten better through time. You think it’s fair for michael Johnson to run on a synthetic track as opposed to dirt? Because that’s what they ran on before. 2. Previous world record holders shouldn’t be the authority on this since they are obviously very biased, as they think they would have better times with new technology.
