While it’s sad, the fact is that we are lucky to get any coverage of most of the meets or events you are highlighting - XC especially. FloTrack is often dependent on the facility’s camera setup. We are lucky someone is there to broadcast at all. For example, the university of Florida’s regular season meets - such as the Florida relays and the other one - is a joke. One fixed camera from the top row on the one side. When ESPN gets involved for the national championships or regionals when it is in Gainesville, there is professional video. Oh wow, they do have the ability to follow the athletes around the track and zoom in. Think about the awful XC NCAA final 2 years ago (the brown ice field where tuohey ran Parker down and it was negative 40 degrees). The video stream was awful. That was on ESPN. In 2022. And that year to see the Regional race (one of them - west not available at all) was on what’s its name KZread feed - NCAA itself does not even offer coverage. The official NCAA video has the KZread channel watermark at the bottom. Filmed from a tractor in front. I guess we’re lucky they were there at all. It’s hard to get coverage of XC. Now I agree $30 a month is ridiculous. It should be $5.99. Diamond league is dead in US now. By the way I earned two degrees from UF and I’m a gator. It’s the states flagship university. The facility for track coverage is a joke. When there is a meet there not covered by ESPN, FloTrack is reliant on the facility’s video setup, I think. As far as the really bad camera shots at a lot of the high school cross-country meets I mean there are thousands of these meets happening and they manage to get them broadcast. I think they are literally reliant on unpaid volunteers for camera footage. like I know for a fact that my daughter’s local meets one of the coaches brings his camera and his videos end up being what is put on mile split . FloTrack is not NBC or ESPN. they cannot have professional cameras at all of these little meets that they manage to let us at least see a glimpse of. FloTrack video of the Florida high school XC state championship meet is pretty decent. Why is that? Because that facility in Tallahassee where Florida has the state meet was actually built as a purposeful cross-country course and it has cameras set up at various places throughout the course. So they get decent shots at various places throughout the course of your kid running by. but again , flo track is dependent on the facility’s camera situation . probably 47 of the other states Don’t have that . they didn’t have it in New Mexico or wherever that awful NCAA meet was two years ago as I mentioned, they seem to not have Internet out there and that was just an awful stream. You know what I’m talking about. The 2022 NCAA XC championship ON ESPN!!!!! in that case ESPN could not figure out how to get a good video stream of a cross country race!!!

Love your channel by the way. By the way, I’m not affiliated with flo track in any way. I’m not defending them. I’m not going to pay $30 for subscription next year and I told them that. I’m just saying these are my thoughts on I think the difficulties with having good video quality for all of the little - frankly unimportant to most of the world - meets that they do try to at least broadcast. TLDR: They are dependent on other people to get them the video and we’re lucky to have any coverage at all of 90% of this stuff. By the way, there’s even a worse thing I think you didn’t mention about FloTrack. They sneakily changed the system regarding the $ 30 subscription. I have never had any subscription to them -not for $12 either. It used to be that mile split subscription for like $90 a YEAR also gave me access to flo track. that has changed suddenly in the middle of my one year term frankly, I could sue them for this . all of a sudden I’m logged out of flo track and they want $30 a month. They changed it Only very recently if you know what I mean. I’m dictating this. It used to be that my mile split for something like $7.99 a month included flo track. It’s only recently that they have it as $29.99 a month for flo track separately.

I do have a documentary (in VHS) in my possession of Eastern European women who came forward--actually what I would cold a confession--of them given dope by their trainers. One of them was describing how big their clitoris were growing..."ALMOST THE SIZE OF YOUNG CHILD'S PENNIES"--she described. I'm trying to find a way of how to transfer the documentary from VHS to a DVD, but I don't know how if that's even possible. The point is, a lot of those so-called "world records" are very questionable.

The rivalry makes perfect sense, because Kerr took the 1500m world championship title from Ingebrigtson and then beat him in their next race wearing that crown. What doesn't make sense is your treating these two races the same as any other races.

25 years ago I was coming to the end of a race and had set up this guy to pass before the end. The last 500 feet required a L, the guy took it at a angle and I had to think about cheating too to pass him. I did the L and here we go 25 years later feeling good that I never cheated., but hating that I’m old and really can’t run anymore and I eat too many donuts.

Does anyone know if the other women in flojos record breaking 100m, smashed their personal bests? Cause I'd imagine the wind wasn't just blowing in flojos lane. If most of the other athletes ran personal bests by 0.2+, than maybe this could be true

You didn't stay in Sweden, but you will happily represent it while living in the evil, mean, racist, horrible free market capitalism of Texas, USA. I ALWAYS find that interesting.

Idk, after my high school race, I jumped into a D1 College race and raced college athletes in their 10K, only less than 15 minutes after my 3 mile on that course. While not the same thing, and also I began at the start line (I flipped my high school uniform inside out), I think he did it just for fun and nothing serious. In my case, as a Junior in high school, I was trying to see how many D1 athletes I could beat in the race. Since I just finished the race, I didn't start out hard and ultimately finished around 120 to 122 out of 350+ athletes. I was very happy and my ego was HUGE for two reasons: 1) I just beat collegiate athletes and most importantly 2) I finished so high up after just finishing my race on a HILLY course in Chicago At the end, I was instantly caught though 🤣🤣🤣🤣 There was a woman that said "heyyy, you're not supposed to be in this race!" and she was the one that handed my a medal just before this particular race started lmfao Ah, good times indeed. Ref: Loyola Invite is the name of the meet for us in HS, didn't know what the collegiate meet was called. Also, I winded up running for one of the teams that competed in that race. I didn't beat a single one of their runners, and they ended up going to nationals and were conference champs multiple times, but still
