The Rise and Fall of Jefferson Hodges Time At JR Motorsports | Dale Jr. Download

Спорт

Jefferson Hodges was one of the integral pieces that brought JRM to life back in the mid 2000s. Little did he knew he would be rooting against the very team he worked so hard to get off the ground.

KELLY.....DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO. Dale is fantastic at what he does, but Mike brought something that's very much needed.

Absolutely could sit and listen to Jefferson talk racing life for hours. Great leadership Dale Jr. showing having this man on the podcast. Well done guys!

Hearing Jefferson talk about Mark McFarland brought back some great memories. In fact, I remember being super young and watching TJ win at Motor Mile and get the bounty on Frank Dieny Jr. Awesome episode and possibly my new personal favorite episode!

He flat out aired the stinky laundry. He is a.great man. Did not hear much from Jr on how this gentleman was done wrong.

@@desertdog1125Mike is now the president of Dirty MO. Mike wanted to step back. Being a typical NASCAR fan, I hate the change, but need to give it time to see if it is just me or the show is really lacking something now. The thing was it seemed like 2 great friends hosting the show. Now it just feels manufactured.

I do miss Mike on the podcast, he would have asked Jefferson to name names, get to the real stuff. Not this node and a wink like we know but folks listening don't need to know.

@bhuff4748 I read something about him taking on a new role or focusing on other things at JRM. Not completely clear, I like the banter between them. Without Mike, it just seems kind of bland. The interviews are still awesome tho.

I personally think Dale Jr has a lot better way with each guest that comes on the show. He doesn't cut people off in the middle of an answer.. He lets them open up and tell there story.

Man. Good stories and memories there. I was there at MB and saw the fight. I remember how the Pro Cup officials who were outside the track couldn't get the gate at the flag stand opened fast enough and sprinted across the track to get the fight under control.

It was a long time ago, but if I remember correctly, did mark get hurt at Milwaukee? Which sucks because I cheered for every JR driver as a kid and that was probably one of his best races of the year to that point.

I believe Mark was running in the top 10 when there was a crash in front of him and he was collected in the mess. I think Mark separated his shoulder and missed a few races. He came back and raced 5-6 more weeks but was released mid- season. Mark didn't even get one full Busch season. Always wondered why he was released so soon in Busch after so much success in late models and Pro Cup for JR motorsports.

Lots of people are asking to bring Mike back as if they’re asking Tony Eury Jr to come back as crew chief for Dale Jr in 2005. I personally do not mind Mike Davis being gone, there definitely isn’t as much (for a lack of a better word) flavor, to the podcast but it seems fine to me
