i love both games, croc 2 is one of my favorite games of all time

Croc was the first game i ever 100% completed, also one of the best soundtracks ever

Croc 2's cave and volcano levels gave me so many nightmares as a kid lmao, I dunno how I wasted so many hours into the game despite the controls being extremely frustrating for the 7 year-old me.

I rented the first Croc game as a kid but never owned it. I remembered enjoying it and came across it at a pawn shop as an adult so brought it. The controls were so frustrating I never ended up finishing it. The levels and game concepts were great though I actually wonder how much the bad controls played into Croc 2 not doing as well or if it was just the 4million people that brought the first one not as many were invested in it enough for the sequel

Thanks bro! It's a shame indeed what happened to Croc ultimately, would've loved to see some kind of clash between Croc and Yoshi due to their similarities! :D

why are you using the tank control type in croc 2?

The footage was via courtesy, I do not play in these clips. That's good to hear tough that you can change the infamous tank controls off in the sequel.

@@Hepodix the camera becomes totally functional when you don't use the type 2 (how the pc version calls tank controls), and the ps1 version has the anolog movement chosen by default
