Steve reynard came up with this rig 10-15yrs a go now all of a sudden it has done the famous roundabout in the rig world again
Fantastic rig making video very interesting and informative how to use PB products I really enjoyed this video and I am a massive fan of PB products 👍🏻🎣🎣🎣
Thank you for the reply, I will definitely check out your other videos 👍
Made me think of Nash Triggalink. Came out donkeys ago... Might get some myself 😊
was using this in the late 80s a cracking rig
Could the bungee tubing be used over supple braid to stop mouth damage when using short hooklinks in solid bags
Yup, ..early 90's I made this rig inspired by an article in a cheaply made small Dutch or Belgian fishing 'magazine' with allways a bleu cover. I believe it was called 't Vissertje (?).
Been useing this for years.🤷♂️Nash brought this out years ago trigger link 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Nice to see you're keeping things simple mate!! 😮😮
Can you use a hook swivel instead of the hair
I think the rig Reynard developed was called “the hermit rig”
I think Ritchie McDonald made the bungee rig famous back in the 80's. Obviously it was tied differently as these products were not around then but the result is the same. I think he was using it as a buffer to enable him to use very fine lines for his carp fishing. I seem to remember 3lb bs being mentioned.
Old but effective, personally i prefer trigger link easy to use and gives you more options yet,omc thought the tragic twig was needed for the same effect
This is the most pain in the ass to tie rig I've ever seen
Thanks mate, will be trying this one. Anyways what top is that your wearing please?
I made that rig 10 years ago mate
all those one eyed carp about, snap! one eye lol, ancient rig tbh, well apart from all the pole anglers that use rubber ;)
Not bad for solid bag method
Time is not on our side sooo long to do something so basic half a day to tie a handful of rigs.
Hermit rig way easier to tie, just as effective
