Could the bungee tubing be used over supple braid to stop mouth damage when using short hooklinks in solid bags

Yup, ..early 90's I made this rig inspired by an article in a cheaply made small Dutch or Belgian fishing 'magazine' with allways a bleu cover. I believe it was called 't Vissertje (?).

I think the rig Reynard developed was called “the hermit rig”

I think Ritchie McDonald made the bungee rig famous back in the 80's. Obviously it was tied differently as these products were not around then but the result is the same. I think he was using it as a buffer to enable him to use very fine lines for his carp fishing. I seem to remember 3lb bs being mentioned.

Old but effective, personally i prefer trigger link easy to use and gives you more options yet,omc thought the tragic twig was needed for the same effect

Time is not on our side sooo long to do something so basic half a day to tie a handful of rigs.
