Karl would be a great negotiator. For suicides he would cheer them up, for a hostage situation he would totally confuse them... and make them laugh.

Karl is right, birds have been getting louder. Birds who live near humans have evolved to be louder over the last few decades.

@@ajivins1 You may be just joking, but I recommend you look up the Lyre Bird. It will absolutely make the sound of a Ford Escort if it hears one and it'll be convincing too. I bet you 100% Karl half-watched a documentary mentioning that bird and this is what he "learned" from it.

@@ajivins1 Ah right, I've been watching these over and over for years. I thought this was the one where he mentioned that. But still, I'm pretty sure that's how it happened. There's usually some kernel of facts in all his stories, but not past the headline level so to speak. He'll just catch a headline and make up a story for it.

I love the genuine concern for Bruce, after hearing he doesn't get his Christmas cards anymore 😂

(The bottle bank) The animation of the garbage truck on that part reminds me how it used to be known that, if you hear the clanging of bottles in someone's garbage when the garbage truck comes around, all the neighbors knew that the person drank a lot, and I was thinking "How fun it would be to join in ONCE." Even though I don't drink at all. I need to live next to your neighbors during their time of "the other thing." 😂I bet that's extremely awkward for you. I imagine you trying to cover your ears. Karl could have just taken five Mars bars, then. Instead of just one. I do know what Karl means by "being fed up with one's self."

I love that the animators made the hostage taker look like Hans Grueber from Die Hard!

So that's where my Christmas cards have been going.

In regards to Life is strange saving Kate depends on how thoroughly you investigated her room at the start of that episode so you can learn the right dialogue to say when she’s on the roof, although you still have to remember what you learned and pick the right options lol

Yes, brass on its own doesn't have that meaning; it needs to be preceded by top. KP often gets things wrong.

My mail goes to my mother's house. She reads all of it, and gives me summaries. I go and collect any that are needed. 😄 Once I got in trouble for investing in a shopping mall, but she was pleased that I sold the shares a week later. I reckon opening mail is a genetic trait - I open other folk's mail too. 😂

Anechoic Chambers are interesting, would definitely go into one, given the chance. In terms of your noisy neighbours, I had one in uni halls, was a proper knob head blasting shit pop music all day and night for weeks, people had asked him to turn it down several times, including security and he didn't. I got pissed off and whacked my 150 watt bass amp on full volume, full bass, stuck it right against the wall and started shredding some random crap. Suffice to say the whole floor rattled, he soon turned it down.

Detroit: Almost Human is a brilliant game for choice making,I like the choice tree at the end of each level. Brilliant as always Mandy 🤪

Life Is Strange is such a great game series. It took me a few attempts to finally stop the girl from jumping off the roof. They make all the characters adorable looking too, to make you feel bad ha ha

You're right about the Anechoic Chambers, until very recently no one had lasted more than an hour inside, including astronauts, special forces, art teachers, some of the most mentally tolerant people on the planet. There's now 2-3 people who broke the 60 minute barrier, world record standing at 86 minutes.

Thanks for my favorite ever podcast transformed into a cartoon! This time, 'Law and Order.' But "It doesn't matter, it's going to be funny." Quite a big claim but one I never doubted. Believe it or not it's scientifically proven that birds chirp louder to be heard above the noise of human activity. *Every one* of Karl's wild stories has been proven so far. I found the story about the guy whose skull fell off the other day. Another true story.🤦‍♂😂

season 2 and the last half of season 1 were the best episodes, (and s3E1 was good too), but the rest of season 3 fizzles out unfortunately.

I would surmise you wouldn't be a great negotiator eith the uncontrollable laugh at your failures. (Specially if you've been called to talk somebody down from the ledge 4 times & failed each & every time)😅
