i saw this app a few months back on the play store in the sale section. it was a 100% off and about 90% of the "purchases" were made during the week it was free.

I could imagine the developers swimming in cash for absolutely nothing laughing at them right now.

I think you’ve found an untapped market for “I am poor” apps. Undercut “I am rich apps” and make a killing.

Someone should weaponize this enormous weakness of insecure people and call it "NFTs" or something.

They need to add an online leader board with micro transactions and the more you pay the higher on the leader board you are

i subscribed to noodle and now i am the richest man alive. dollar bills spewed from every crevice and sphincter in my house and now i have bought the presidency. nobody can stop me. not even god. i will not stop until i own everyone and everything. life will be perfect under my rule.

As a hobby I had like 10 of these apps on my old phone, turns out they go for free pretty often so they're pretty easy to collect.

I now show random homeless people on the streets this app to make up for my wife leaving me and taking the kids.

As someone who launched his own Kishu Inu clone, """developer""" is just spot on. But people still treated me like I actually knew what I was doing, despite my being open and honest about everything.

I just wanted to say these videos are amazing noodle, keep em up man

Honestly I think hardly anyone actually buys these. They’re like an extremely elaborate inside joke. The developers lower the price to a dollar or maybe even free for certain times, then put the price back up. Honestly it’s pretty heckin’ funny so I have absolutely no problems with this

Seriously???? I came up with this idea when the iphone first came out. I even made a prototype. It was literally just a gold icon on black leather that went "ka-ching!" whenever you tapped it. I never submitted it to the app store because it felt immoral, but it's funny that someone else had the same idea and actually committed to it.

My favorite part about those apps is when I read the weird reviews...

It's like an NFT you can hold.

The funny thing is that I had one of these apps- No I didn't drop $400 on it, but it was a free download at the time. A day or so later, the price ramps up to $400, so now I own a $400 app. I'm sure that's probably the catch with a few of these as well.
