    I was so surprised by this movie, and in the best way possible. I am SO not used to good acting, an entertaining and touching script, and a non-agenda driven story coming from a 'Christian film' but this had all that and more. What a fabulous movie. I've already recommended it and will continue to for a long time.

    Awesome to see the Message of Jesus in movies. If everyone saw as Jesus did, what a beautiful world we would have. It's what's on the inside that counts, He didn't look at outer appearance, He looks at the heart. The heart is on the inside and it counts 100,000 beats a day. Heart disease is the biggest killer in the world, both physically and spiritually. But Jesus came to change that! God the Creator of everything came humbly in Love as a Single Cell within Mary on Hanukkah, He was born at the greatest birth announcement ever at Trumpets, He fulfilled the Day of Atonement, Tabernacles, Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits and Weeks! Our God is an Awesome God!

    @lovesfireflight

    Collins Vincent, I don't know why people of the past did what they did or why they believed they could use their faith to justify it, but if you read the Bible, you will see that God does not stand for slavery, mistreating women, or forcing anyone to believe something. But we often get in the way of what God wants. Christians are humans, just like anyone else, and because of that, we are still subject to what our flesh wants us to do. It doesn't make our wrong actions right, but we are not perfect by any means. We even experience doubts. We sometimes wonder if God is really there, if He really hears our prayers. We are not saints. and we still deal with pain daily. But as cliche as it sounds, it really is a matter of faith. When one steps out on a leap of faith, though, God is there on the other side, and his power becomes enough, not just to cleanse us, but to change and strengthen us. To really see God though, we have to believe. "And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him" (Hebrews 11:6). It is hard to believe in what we can't see. But think of it as getting in your car. You can't see how all the parts work together, but you trust they will when you turn the ignition. How silly would it be to avoid getting in your car out of fear that it won't start without even trying? Something that God has really taught me over the past year is that the only way we can see him is when we seek him with everything that we are, not half-heartedly, when we really trust he is who he says he is. "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart" (Jeremiah 29:13). He doesn't force himself on us because he knows that true love means letting us choose. But no matter what we choose, God still made a way for all of us, including you, to be free from our flesh, from our sin and mistakes, our pasts, our darkness, our struggles, and even death. He gave us the chance for a new name. He is perfect and the standard of everything we should be, and he saw that no matter how hard we tried, our good works were never going to be good enough because none of us is perfect. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Because we could never be that perfect, we were doomed to be separated from him forever in Hell as the penalty. Not because he hated us, but because he hated sin, which we were drowing in. We had no hope. Sin is pretty much choosing something over God, choosing to do things our own way and not His. We are born knowing how to do this because of what Adam and Eve did. We can see the result of our decisions-war, poverty, disease, addictions, divorce, murder, injustice. We walked away from him in rebellion. We did not want the life he had to offer us. We did not trust him. He gave us the opportunity to choose, and we chose death, and we were going to be enslaved to it forever for the price of our sin. We just really cannot understand the death and destruction that our sin brings. We did not deserve God. "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together in Christ-by grace you have been saved-and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:4-7). God stepped off his throne, was born to a lowly carpenter and his wife, and lived the perfect life that no one else could live, free of sin because he was perfect. When we could not pay our own penalty for sin, Christ DID IT FOR US. Though he was completely innocent, he took all of our sin and rebellion against God and our diseses and nailed them to the cross. He conquered it all. Three days later, he rose from the dead, proving that the grave could not hold him and conquering death forever! He loved us enough to die for us and make us free from sin and death. He wanted us to be able to have the freedom that a life with God brings. He died to give YOU that freedom. He loves you with a love like you've never known. He formed you in your mother's womb for an amazing purpose and wants to give you more than you could ever dream. He wants your heart, not your works. Religion tells us we can get to Heaven by our works. Jesus said by it is only by faith in him and what he did for us. Not to say that good works don't have merit, but without Jesus, they are good works done by people who are spiritually dead in their sins and so the works are not good enough. They are tainted, so to speak. But Jesus said enough was enough and gave our spirits new life in his spirit, so now when God looks at us, he sees his perfect son, not our sin. That is why Christians can't help but worship him and spread the news of what he has to offer. It's literally the best news in history. Forcing it down people's throats is inexcusable and not what Jesus wants at all, but we are called to share it out of love. It sounds crazy, but the Bible is full of "crazy." God created us to believe in miracles, to believe in the impossible, to dream, to hope, and to experience and share his love. He gives each of us breath and a heartbeat. You are not some accident, some coincidence in evolutionary history! Give yourself more credit than that! You are "fearfully and wonderfully made" in his image. He thinks you are worth dying for. His love offers true hope. His love is so powerful. True love, which Jesus preached, is about sacrifice, about loving God and loving others like we love ourselves. When Christians finally realize what this means, we will be able to unite and truly show people who Jesus is. I'm not trying to overwhelm you or dis you or anything like that. I just wanted you to hear the truth of the Gospel, which this movie is trying to share, whether it is a blockbuster or not. I don't know you but I love you in Christ as a friend and hope that this gives you hope. Please judge the worth of this by what God says, not by what you see Christians doing. No, we don't always practice what we preach. But that is because we don't always remember who we are in Christ. God is there. He always has been, and always will be. When you surrender to him, he lifts you up. He wants an authentic relationship with us, so we have to pursue him instead of expecting him to do all of the pursuing. Don't all relationships take two? Like a loving father, he wants you to run to him so he can embrace you and take care of you. I pray that you will come to choose the life he offers you, but it is your choice. If you do choose it, you will know what true love is all about and you will become alive like you have never been before:) If you ever want to learn more about what Jesus has done for you, I suggest getting someone to help you read and understand the Bible. He will reveal himself to you, but you have to be willing to listen. God bless you and keep you. Have an awesome week! Sorry this is so long, being concise is not my strongsuit!! lol

    lovesfireflight It's amusing to watch a sheepish fundamentalist of your caliber actively try to defend what is blatant propaganda that was designed to get audiences to convert and subscribe to a misguided belief system. The only thing separating the practitioners of Christianity today from those of the past is the usage of physical violence. And no, there is no point on reading pathetic book of fairytales that Christians try to pass off as a valid historical text or book of secrets. I suggest you make the pledge to get help and stop believing in the irrational and ill-proven.

    Just a personal suggestion: I originally saw this trailer in the theater because it was a Fathom Events screening. Unfortunately it was being shown on a night I was not able to attend. I realize that Fathom Events does very limited screenings but it might behoove people who make these movies to show them on more than just one night. Maybe two or three nights would be more appropriate. Just a thought.
