might be an instinctual posture to make themselves look less like frogs and more like a plant or something when they're in the vulnerable state of sleeping. i'm not an expert tho, that's just speculation.

Fun fact this happens because they literally suck their eyeballs down into the sockets when then close their eyes, and this is actually how they swallow stuff. They physically shove things down their throat with their eyeballs. The beauty of nature ❤
