Many people don’t realize these frogs are really unique because they aren’t like frogs in many ways. For one they can’t swim and will drown if you put them in deep water. Second, they don’t have tadpole babies, but instead hatch mini baby frogs. And third they cannot hop, but they crawl fast if they wanted to.

Yes and some amphibians have semipermeable skin so they can absorb dangerous chemicals into their skin. Adorable little guys 😊 I love my baby toad friends outside. I feed them stinkbugs lol. They eat any insects. 😂

If you have dangerous chemicals on your own skin, you should wash your hands instead of protecting the frog by putting on gloves.

I hate to be that guy, but these frogs actually don't do well in captivity, they die after only a couple months. So the people who make these videos are actually unethical

I get the sense that it is looking for some mud to chill out in. These wood blocks and dry table tops are probably really weird for it.

This frog is very cute and I would love to have one as a pet in my garden, I realise though that he’s quite unique. I’m in the UK and have frogs and toads in our ponds I love looking for them and saying hello. I am very protective of them.
