Kumaresh, Excellent innovative rendition of "Begada". Although you detailed about the origin of Divine music mainly in the in instrumental form, you must have forgotten about Maharshi Naradar who always sang praising Lord Narayana, and known to be the Father of all Music.

According to old tradition and practice all the instrumentalists were expected to sing also.

There were no questions because it is an accepted fact that this music system is one of the oldest known systems. He and many other instrumentalists of this system are known to also, extract the maximum tone from their instruments. That violin seems to be a very expensive one!

My bad. I should have listened to the whole piece before posting. He reveals the raga (begada) at the end of his playing.

    I. fold hands please do not spoil traditional. carnatic. style of music. You are playing neither, hindusthani, Karnatak, western, semi calssical. film style. of music. Please play as you like but do not use the word carnatic. before. your style of music. You have killed the beauty of the begada raga.
