My GOAT in terms of a pure DB adventure with exploration and “the journey to find the dragonballs” at its center, rather than a tournament arc or one big baddie (even though I love King Piccolo just as much as RR) :)

1:43 The black characters being that black is the reason all of them have obvious lips (or at least I think that’s part of it). If a character’s skin has too little contrast with the lines that make up the mouth, it would just look like a void is opening and closing on their face whenever they talked, so lips of a different color are necessary. Now why they’re so big, and why they’re pink/red so often, is a separate matter entirely😅

I love the build up to any foe they used to have back in og dragon ball/z, now that magic is gone, we just get a little backstory and dudes like jiren or hit just appear out of nowhere smh

6:30 in the Japanese version while Roshi recalls the origin story of the Dragon Balls, a song called Doragonbôru Densetsu plays. FUNimation couldn't get the rights to the song for their dub and so they had to leave this scene without music
