Freezer's voice was done by Martin Billany AKA "LittleKuriboh", a famous figure in the abridged series scene (Abridged format is basically a parody of some series, usually shorter and funnier, done by certain fan teams) I dont know if you would want to react to that or not, but I reccomend Dragon Ball Z Abridged by TeamFourStars. They made a little parody series out of Dragon Ball Z. Its very good. They have great voices. It started out like just doing random internet jokes, but around episode 5 they really got the hang of what they wanted to do, they started to get better in the comedy, editing and other stuff. They really have done a great job with all of it, not just doing a fun experience, but also respecting the source material and just making it as a love letter to Dragon Ball Z and Akira Toriyama. There are like nice playlist that have all the episodes, some other videos withinsert songs they made, like having Piccolo and Gohan sing "I will make a man out of you" from Mulan as they trained against the saiyan invasion. They parodied the movies and made some special episodes out of some of the filler in the series. They also did a mini series with "what happened after the Cell fight" comeplete with original animation and a fun side series called "HFIL" that shows what happened to all the people that were beaten until the Cell saga and their little sitcom life in hell, which is still ongoing by the way.

"Frieza day?" Damnit...Tyler, now you have to go watch the whole Dragon Ball Z Abridged series. That's where the reference comes from. Not something to react to, but something I highly recommend doing in your free time. It's hilarious. Lol

A lot of the jokes were references to Dragon Ball Z Abridged. I do NOT recommend a reaction video to that (you will probably get demonetized, the studio is bad about that), but it's a hilarious watch. One of my favorite lines was Goku asking Frieza if he knew what a minute is.😂

5:55 of course, the way they dont destroy the world in their fights its a bit of suspension of disbelief but you can justify it, at least up to a certain point in the series. Its not like Goku can just punch the ground and the planet will explode. He has to take a bit of time to generate and harness his Ki energy , focus it onto a single point and then he throws it. And he increases the amount of energy he can harness through training. He went from using all his energy to shatter a car with a beam, up to having the power to level entire cities and then make the entire world shake just by increasing his Ki energy.

Never expected death battle here but i love it haha

While the communities that speculate this kind of stuff do compare characters of apparently similar power levels they're often drawn to matches between characters who also have some similarities regarding narrative, character, or at least powers even if it widens the overall power gap between them and this matchup leaned a lot more in that direction. I'm no expert on these characters but I imagine talk of this matchup predates the existence of Dragon Ball Super so perhaps Frieza's power level was not just lower prior to that series but close enough to comparable even if he still might've been the victor. That channel, DEATH BATTLE!, definitely isn't perfect having made a few notable errors over the years that I'm aware of but they're overall pretty good and usually entertaining. The animation towards the end is one of their main draws compared to other such channels and as you mentioned it's purely for the entertainment value.

Here are some rules Death Battle follows, to help if you decide to react to more: 1. They look at who would win the majority of the time, not just a couple of times thanks to one good move or skill. That's why they clarified Megatron could win some of the time, just not the majority. 2. All material is considered, as long as it is apart of the combatants normal arsenal and doesn't contradict the source. That's why Megatron was able to use the Anti-Matter, as he's used it enough times to consider it a part of his normal kit, not to make the fight interesting. 3. Outside help is not allowed. So if Mario fights a character, Luigi can't jump in to help. This is sometimes ignored when the help is only a powerup rather than a separate person. 4. All morals about killing are removed to keep things fair. This means if Batman fights anyone, he will finish an opponent off despite his code he follows. Would love for you to react to more fights! Some recommendations that include fun science and calculations are Dragonzord vs Mechagodzilla, Saitama vs Popeye, Flash vs Archie Sonic, Hulk vs Doomsday, Mob vs Tatsumaki, Black Canary vs Sindel and Magneto vs Tetsuo!

This makes me recall there is a line in Dr. Slump like, thank god the author doesn't know science well or I'd have died now LOL

Found your channel through styropyro. Thoroughly enjoyed all those videos. Once i heard you say you were familiar with dragonball (my childhood show of choice) i subscribed immediately. I am an electrical engineer, specializing in industrial automation and controls and robotics. I wish nuclear was a plausible field of study without having to move far away cause everything ive learned about it frombyour videos makes it way more interesting to me than i ever knew before. I feel a connection between two dragonball watchers and physics / science nerds :]

Base frieza : blows up a planet 10x the size of earth with 1 finger Megatron: strongest attack could maybe take out a city Death battle : shows the city level attack overpowering the planetary one . That pretty much sums up the level of accuracy here I think the argument for anti matter is that it converts whatever it touches into energy , not the explosion that results from that . Considering dragon ball characters are covered in a spiritual shield during combat tho , I kinda doubt it would ever make contact . Assuming he could even hit something that’s 10 to the FU times faster than him . Again frieza didn’t need to transform to win this fight , but death battles gotta do their thing , spectacle over logic .

If you count Dragon Ball Super, Freezer has already survived a ball made with "Hakai", or destruction energy, which is a kind of energy which property is erasing stuff out of existance. You dont even get to go to the afterlife if you get hit by it, you just vanish forever. Freezer overpowered it and manipulated it.

​@ero-senninsama1734 Antimatter isn't the same as Hakai, though. One is a ki-based technique, the other is a highly volatile substance. They may look similar on the surface level, but they are not. Hakai, like all powers in Dragon Ball, can be resisted so long as the target's willpower and overall power is greater than the user. Antimatter, on the other hand, doesn't care how powerful you are. The second Frieza gets hit by it, he's as good as dead

Even Frieza had his Black Frieza form, he will still get annihilated by Megatron. Megatron has fought and defeated opponents who where much more powerful than Frieza. Death Battle got the scaling and cosmology for Transformers wrong. They nerfed Megatron on purpose so they wouldn't have to deal with whiny Dragon Ball fans

@@ramzisalim2592 except you didn’t take into account -why- dragon ball characters can just resist things . It’s because of their ki . The spiritual energy that not only lets them hit heart , but let’s them do things like maintain consciousness while not having a physical brain , and of course protect them from damage . It’s a lot like a force field . If you get past the forcefield , the characters themselves aren’t that tough . But that forcefield is there and the antimatter would just bounce off and react to the air unless you can bypass it , and it’s never been bypassed in the show except by a character willingly lowering their shield or being straight up overpowered by a bigger ki number or superior technique. All that to say , the dark matter has zero chance of working.

More Death Battle! The show rocks even if they often ignore their own rules in order to choose who wins. But the jokes and stuff are always on point

I know it's kind of obvious that this was a mismatched fight but a lot of the fights that they do are submitted by fans or a very popular debates.

I think they use these numbers 5:44 so regular people watching can get an accurate understanding of the speed and power

I would not completely trust their math, since trying to calculate how strong a character is by doing measurements, calculations, etc on various feats of that character can vary easily end up with that character looking way more powerful than what the story actually portrays them as. Otherwise the fights themselves are pretty cool.

My only question is this one why Megatron versus Frieza wouldnt make more sense for you to do Ant-Man vs atom, killua vs Mikasa or the one that's about to come out rick vs doctor who

It's important to note that death battles scalings aren't always accurate and there is often controversy around it. But, I find them all fun and amusing to watch none the less. Basically their logic is off sometimes, which erks people

I know you said you watched dragonball and dbz as a kid. Same with me and probably millions of others around our age. If you ever have the chance you should watch super. But before that if you really want nostalgia and to laugh your literal ass off, i highly recommend you watch Team Four Stars Dragonball Z Abridged. It is so amazingly done and the voice actors and character personalities are truly amazing. I prefer it over the actual DBZ

Super isn't a palette-swapped version of Z, it's an actual continuation with the kind of ridiculous power scaling you'd expect plus humor closer to Dragonball than Z. It's really good. Funny story, it exists because Dragonball Evolution was so bad that Akira Toriyama decided he had to come out of retirement to make more Dragonball.

Freeza and Frieza are both correct and come from slightly different official translations of the name. When he trained and got his new form, he purposely made it golden to mock the super Saiyan form.

The United States' medium range ballistic missiles are called Nike Missiles. Folks keep telling me this is because they're named after the Greek Goddess of Victory, but I think that's a load of bologna. There is no victory in a nuclear exchange! Missiles are fast, and what makes people go fast, and is a rousing success story for the Capitalism America held so dear during the Cold War? Nike Footwear, so here's a sobering thought. The folks that named those missiles were sitting around thinking, "Just Do It!" A little military humor for Veterans' Day with a nuclear cherry on top for y'all. These are fun. My scanner is calculating the fun level and... No... It can't be. It's over Nine THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!!!!! I can't see Megatron standing any chance here. I'm a 1990 kid too though, so my Transformers knowledge is also non-existent. Dragon Ball Super is pretty decent though

That was a no brainier. I don't see how the antimatter would have made a difference. I remember reading that the energy from Hawking Radiation can transform into two equal particles of matter and antimatter, but one of them almost always gets sucked back into the black hole. It's one of the theories for why matter is so much more abundant than antimatter. Once Megatron has the antimatter, he still needs to hit Frieza with it, and he would have to deliver it from the vacuum of space or have it isolated from the planet's atmosphere to prevent it from annihilating immediately and blowing himself to bits. They have a "One Punch Guy vs. Popeye the Sailor Man" that is a must see. I don't know One Punch Guy at all, but the Godly Power of Popeye had me almost wetting myself laughing.

Threats to a much smaller universe would potentially mean much smaller levels of power compared to universal feats in a universe many times larger. The death battle cast actually covered that.

Not that I'm saying one way or the other whether you're right or wrong, but without a source it just sounds like you're making stuff up because you don't like the results of the battle.

To go deeper in why blacj matter would not work against frieza. In super there are gods of destruction who kannuse hakai to erease things from existence, a divine tevhnique. Ereasing even sould and delete existence comopletely. Frieza tanked such a hakai but they believe black matter would work😂 also goku ssjblue(not most powerfull form far weaker then frieza black) escaped black hole in tournament of power. So yeah. Frieza and megatrron both in halves was just fan service

You have no idea how much they low balled and it feel's like they did it on purpose Here let me explain. Now they compared Megatron to Optimus prime which is resanoble and I am doing the same but whit more evidence. Now Optimus prime was able to defeat Nova Prime who had the power of the Dead Universe and the The Heart of Darkness, keep in mind that Nova Prime whit just no Heart of Darkness can merge all of creation, which is the entirety of the Transformers multiverse or omniverse including there concepts whit in them. Keep in mind when Optimus prime fought him had the power of the dead universe which was a building block universe for any multiverse because again the Transformers multiverse consists whit multiple universes whit those universes having spilntered timelines attached to them so essentially a Multiverse.

The Deceptigod, that Megatron defeated, is responsible for the creation of the Heart of Darkness, which is the Dark counterpart of the Matrix of Leadership, the device that Optimus Prime uses to defeat Unicron. Megatron should've won this battle. They didn't go in depth on his feats in the IDW comics and instead focused on the cartoon version. In fact, here are a few things why Frieza wouldn't stand a chance against IDW Megatron. First of all, Megatron defeating the Deceptigod is proof alone that he far surpasses Frieza in raw power. The Deceptigod is a being that was going to destroy the main universe. One major mistake Death Battle made here is that they didn’t go in depth on the cosmology of Transformers and simply stated this to be a simple universal feat; will it's not. Every universe in the Transformers multiverse has been stated multiple times to be infinite in scope. The Transformers universe has around 17 to 22 spatial-temporal dimensions, infinite quantum-realities, and has Zero-Space, which contains the infinite timelines of the past and the present. Each timeline is its own full-fledged universe, it's basically a multiverse within a universe. The Deceptigod was going to destroy all of it, but Megatron was able to take him down. The Dragon Ball universe, on the other hand, is only 13 times larger than our own universe; which is far smaller when compared to the Transformers universe. The Deceptigod, is also the living embodiment of the Dead universe, which has already consumed multiple infinite universes and higher-dimensions before. And just to blow your mind even more, the Deceptigod is responsible for the creation of the Heart of Darkness, which is a dark counterpart to the Matrix of Leadership that Optimus Prime uses to defeat Unicron. You know? The guy who can destroy the infinite multiverse by just existing? Second, Megatron had Frieza beat in durability. Even though he can't compare to Regenesis Shockwave in terms of power, the fact he was able to survive his attacks shows how durable he is. See Regenesis Shockwave had control over all of space and time, can remove freaking concepts, and was also capable of destroying the infinite universe. The fact that Megatron can survive his attacks proves that he can take anything Frieza can dish out. Frankly, the only adavantage I see Frieza having is speed, but even that is rendered moot thanks to Megatron's force fields. Plus, Megatron has installed space-bridge technology into his body, that gave him the ability to teleport himself and anyone as well as having the side-effect of creating spatial wormholes inside him. So if Frieza tries to punch through him, he'll only get his arm torn off. All of this, combined with Megatron's millions of years of combat experience, means that Frieza will be annihilated even if he did have his Black Frieza form. Death Battle purposefully Megatron so they wouldn't have to deal with whiny Dragon Ball fans complaining about how a "simple robot" can beat Frieza

Megatron may not scale to RS in terms of power, but he still survived his attacks. Megatron has even defeated someone who can destroy an infinite universe like the Deceptigod. The Transformers universe has infinite timelines, with it being confirmed that each timeline in Transformers is a full-fledged universes. Optimus Prime has even taken down an Elder God with his bare hands. The Elder Gods are beings whose power dwarf Unicron and even took down Nova Prime who was going to destroy all of creation with the Heart of Darkness, and this was without the Matrix of Leadership. Since Megatron scales to Optimus and has even defeated him a few times, he's capable of the same feats. So yeah, Megatron outstats Frieza in raw power

@sukunamaster They probably said that just to show how everything around them is inferior. Unicron always hated existence and wants to make sure only he is the only thing that exists. Plus, the Hearts of Steel storyline shows Optimus taking down an Elder God, a being that is as powerful as Unicron, if not more, with his bare hands without the Matrix. So Megatron has a clear edge in power, not to mention he can tank Frieza's attacks since he survived attacks from Regenesis Shockwave

The Transformers universe has infinite quantum-realities and infinite timelines. Every timeline is a full-fledged universe, making it a multiverse within a universe. That alone makes universes in Transformers infinite. How can you refute that? Therefore, Megatron beating people who can destroy infinity proves he's well above Frieza in raw power

I love how scientists seem to not grasp that scientific notation of very large or very small numbers is both not easy for laymen to understand' and also less cool sounding than the various "illion" numbers.

29:30 No it's not. They are just following the trend the fandom Wiki "VS Battle Wiki" created. They made up terms like Macrocosm that never existed and say that the universe contain 8+-spacetimes. (When the entire Multiverse of Dragon Ball Super is a single timeline) So Universe 7 is at most the size of our observable universe and realistically way smaller, each time you measure it, it is never the same: Going from smaller than the Oort Cloud in width to 400 thousand light years or a few millions.
